"Decorating with those lights that were outside?" Aaron guessed. He wasn't completely clueless, even before seeing them outside he'd known about Christmas lights. He just didn't celebrate anything, so he had never paid any attention until now. It did leave him clueless on any actual traditions though. He was curious why Christmas cookies would be any different from ones you could make any other day, but didn't really question it.

Nykidia nodded her head. "Yep. Most people use lights, wreaths, and boughs of holly." She explained.

Aaron nodded to show he understood. Glancing at the others he kept his guard up so they couldn't hug him again. He wasn't used to being around so many people, but felt he couldn't back away without them thinking he was trying to run off. It made him nervous since he was always expecting the worst. "Can we go out to the main area?" He asked. "I'd rather be where I can tell if someone comes to cause trouble." If he had to stay he'd at least like to be where he could fend for himself, even if his magic failed him. So long as he trusted he had at least some chance at an advantage should there be a fight he was more willing to be around others.

"Oh! Sure!" Nykidia said. "I've been needing to go out there to close up the place anyway." Flyn said standing up and stretching. "I can make you guys some drinks if you'd like." Nykidia said as she got up and started to head to the door.

Aaron looked to the group, moving to follow to the main area. Remembering the drink from this morning he recalled how it tasted and how it burned. The best he could say was it wasn't the worst, but he wouldn't drink it if he didn't have to. "I think I'm good. I'd rather stay away from those drinks." He told Nykidia, trying to not sound too rude. He should probably drink something, even if just water, but he honestly didn't care. Hearing Nysaxiope's question he gave Nykidia a curious look. "Yeah, how old are you exactly? All I know is I'm most likely older than you."

Nykidia giggled as she remembered how Aaron reacted with the shot of vodka. "Your reaction was priceless." She said giggling. She perked up when he asked about her age. "I'm 14. And Night is still to be decided." She said giggling. She walked out into the open room. It was close to closing time so most people had left except for a few drunk men. Fyln went over and began to shoo some people out. Nykidia recognized a hydra that was inside. "Hey! I know you!" She shouted at the hyrdra.

He was puzzled by Nykidia's remark on his reaction earlier. She had laughed with Nysaxiope when they scared him at the restaurant as well, and again when they had kept him from leaving. He knew people could find things amusing, and he wasn't the best at talking, but he didn't see what was so laughable about him. "What's so funny about my reactions?" Aaron questioned, not really asking any of the trio specifically. "Also I was right in thinking I'm older than you." He added, following the red head out of the room. Looking to who she started shouting at he narrowed his eyes in distrust, recognizing the hydra. Even if they had calmed after, the hydra was still the one to get everyone in trouble by starting a fight. He wasn't fond of him based off their first encounter.

They were simply remaining in their place. Mylnorr's eyes wandered around the place, forked tongue flicking out and testing the air. Faraneer had grown quiet, sleeping so to speak. As for Kirdairn, he quiet, observing the world around them with/through their single pair of eyes while in their human form.
Hm, it seemed people and creatures were starting to drift out of this place. They watched in mostly silence, though finally Mylnorr muttered softly under his breath.
"Hm, seems the place is closing for the night. Guess we…"
His line was cut short as a voice suddenly shouted at them. Mylnorr's head turned, glancing over to see 3 familiar looking faces. There was a growl in their mind as Kirdairn picked up the scents. His voice was a snarl in their mind.
~Oh fuck off, that's all we need, that bunch…even fishy is here~.
There was a sound in their mind, as if something was moving. However, it grew quiet again. Faraneer probably felt the shift of their body, but the sounds didn't seem to wake him as he continued to 'sleep' onwards in their mind. The growl continued to emit from Kirdairn.
Mylnorr shifted his gaze elsewhere, speaking softly, "We could try to ignore them, maybe they'll leave us alone. That or play dumb…"
~Doubt that will work knowing this bunch. Girl with shadow, don't know much about. Fox boy, most likely knows our scent, just as I sorta kinda recognize his, there's some differences there, as if he's trying to hide that scent. Then of course we have the fishy, who's still probably whining about everything~.
The male released a sigh at his brother head's comment. He stood up, grabbing his jacket and pulling it close against their body again. He turned to look towards the small group.
"If you are closing, I can take my leave yes? I do not wish to get in the way, as I feel I have done enough in your presence."
There was a snort ~You're too damn soft. We used to…~ Kirdairn never finished as he started to cough.
Then as if setting off a reaction, Mylnorr sneezed outloud. He muttered darkly under his breath. The male used their coat sleeve, wiping their face.
"This cold is not helping…we warmed up enough to make it back home I think…"

"Hold up. I want to know what your doing here." Nykidia said holding out her hand. "I don't think we have been properly introduced. I'm Nykidia and this is Night." She said. She frowned slightly when the hydra coughed and sneezed. "You look cold. We have a fireplace in the back where you can warm up." Nykidia offered.

Aaron growled lowly, sending the hydra a glare. He didn't understand why Nykidia was trusting him so easily, and didn't care if he was sick, but if the hydra wanted to leave unharmed he better know to not try hurting anyone. Other than his warning growl he stayed quite, knowing if he talked he'd get snappish. Aaron didn't care for a proper introduction anyways, he wasn't giving the hydra his name or welcoming him. He listened for what the others said instead, keeping his temper as best he could.
