Takala leans on the foot of the hospital bed, staring up at all the monitors, "What did I get myself into…"

"is that so?" The voice chuckled

The boy moaned again, this time adjusting his head

"It is, im most likely going to outlive all of you."

Takala snarls to herself, starting her pacing again, "What now?"

"not if I kill you!"

Slowly, he lifted a hand to his head, wincing heavily

Takala flinches, transforming into her Wendigo form and crouching down below the bed

"Im unable to die from stab wounds. Sorry." He apologizes, seeming to really mean it.

He opened his eyes, then gave a cry, looking around the room with wide eyes

"Then I guess I'll have to look you some other way"

Takala crawls to the side of the bed nearest the window/wall

"You can try, but before you try. You want some cake?" He asks, pulling out a wrapped piece of cake that was in his bag.

The boy sat up before crying out and laying back down, gripping his chest "where am I?!"

The man tilted his head. "cake?"

"Yeah, cake! Im Asher, whats your name?" He said, handing the cake wrapped in napkins to the stranger.

"Jeff… What the hell are you?"

"Shit…" She was tempted to call Slender to get her out of there but ducks under the head of the bed. (The part that moves up and down

The boy called out again, gripping the bed sheets "WHERE AM I?!"

Takala stayed silent but controls her hand to become humanish. She reaches up over the edge of the bed, "…hospital…"

"A Fae!" Asher says cheerfully, splashing his legs in the water.

He screeched at the movement, jumping away, only to hurt himself again. "What are your doing down there?!"

"Why are you here?"

The Wendigo backs up further she was hidden and silent

"I wanted to take a walk." He shrugs. "Is there anything wrong with that?"

The boy raised his voice. There was a crack in it that made it seem as if he was about to cry. "Why am I here?!"

"There is when you run into me!" Jeff chuckled

"Technically you ran into me. You were the first to respond."

"Im trying to have some fun. But it's no fun when I can't get you to scream… So I'll just have to find another way"
