"Brandt." He replied after a moment. He walked to the door of the tent. "Jinx!" He called.

Shionick tried not to flinch and failed screaming always made her jump
The man took no notice of her.
Jinx came over after a moment, pulling his shirt on after changing out of his performance clothes. "Yes sir?"

Shionick waved slightly from behind Brandt "Hello again"
Jinx looked over at her, and gave a small smile, then looked at Brandt. "What is it, sir?" He asked.
"Show miss Shionick around. She'll be bunking with Paige."

Shionick walked over to Jinx's side and started up a conversation "What is your favorite thing about this place?"
Jinx smiled slightly, and started walking. "The performances." He replied with a shrug.

"Really not the food? I always liked the churros and well any junk food here but i guess that comes naturally" Shionick chuckled at herself as if she needed enough to worry about but with Jinx it felt different
Jinx chuckled softly, and shook his head. "Those are for the people watching. That's not what us performers eat." He replied.

"oh! that's cool" Shionick smiled at Jinx "so what do you do for fun other than preform?"
He shrugged a little. "Train." He replied. "Not much else, really."

"Really? Have you ever had a day on the town or spent time with your friends?" Shionick could practically see the bewilderment in her own voice
He tipped his head slightly. "Ah… no. We don't leave the circus much." He replied.

Shionick took time to think about her car a Ford mustang with a simple shade of light blue fitted with a small star decal on her diver and passenger doors just under the window "Wow. Must be pretty boring with that one huh?"
He shrugged. "Not really." he replied. "We keep ourselves busy pretty easily."

"oh cool" Shionick looked at her feet as they shuffled

Jinx smiled slightly. "Mhm."

"Maybe we could go to a mall soon id Brendt let's us" Shionick liked the thought

Jinx blinked a bit. "Oh. Uhm…maybe." he replied slowly.

Shionick smiled he must not get out much i'm guessing "Do you get out much? Into the world i mean"

"Like my family used to be" Shionick emphasized the word used in a cold tone "not much left there anymore since dad's accident"

Jinx nodded. "Ah. I see." He replied. "I'm sorry."

"It's alright my mom blames me because i was with him she says i didn't try to save him but i was a kid i di-didn't know what t-to do" Shionick felt the tears running down her face the tragedy of losing her dad and the night she got the necklace

Jinx blinked, and hesitantly put a hand on her shoulder. "Kion, I'm sorry." He replied softly. "It's going to be alright."

Shionick's mouth tugged down but she smiled through it and without warning Jinx she hugged him and whispered "thank you"
Jinx blinked in surprise at the hug. "Oh. Uhm… you're welcome." He replied slowly.

Shionick drew back from the hug "sorry no has ever listened to my woes before and actually stayed there they usually run away screaming bloody murder" a chuckle escaped her lips but slowly died as she looked at her scuffed converse
Jinx shrugged. "It's fine." He replied softly. "Don't worry about it."
