Welcome To The Jungle // 4/4 // CLOSED

So I saw Jumanji: The Next Level today and it gave me an idea.
I kinda want to do something based on it, where some school kids get trapped in the world of a video game.
Since it's only been out for a bit - I know for myself it's only been a day - I don't want to do anything that could spoil the movie too much. So this means it will probably follow the first movie (Welcome To The Jungle), but obviously slightly different.

Anyway…I'm going to use the same tropes for the characters, but you don't have to match them the same way as they are in the movie. You also don't have to keep the same gender as what was used in the movie, but I think it would be funny for a gender change to still happen (the main person is male but goes to female in game or vice versa).
So….yeah. If someone wants to join, I'll post a template.

(ok so it's just based on the movie, not a part of it at all. so basically the same plot thing happens, but none of this rp is related to the movie. does that make sense? also yes, you may be)

One more question though: the movie has the high school kids turn into these other guys, so does that mean that diva and animal guy have to be the same person? It's okay if that's the case, I just wanna clarify cause I was thinking the animal guy could just be a separate character who really did like animals and all)

(no so they choose their characters and then becomes those people. that means that since your diva chooses the animal guy as their character, they will become the animal guy in game. they are the same people, not different ones. they dont exist in the same world)

(also by animal guy that means he becomes an animal expert, can love animals but just knows everything about it (i do love that from the movie, and since its the same tropes i would prefer you use it). mini spoiler for the new movie: he can talk to the animals now too)

Style: Long, green shirt with black jeans, white wool cardigan, often holding a mirror. Wears high heels with environmental charity logos on them
Personality: Mean, selfish, and often bratty and whiny towards people. However, her heart warms up to all animals and she is often seen working for animal rights groups. She loves her rich and spoilt lifestyle, but isn't afraid to get dirty when the situation calls for it.

Background: Her family is extremely rich, but prefer to live in the peace and quiet of the fields. They have built a large golf course with multiple gardens and wineries, and have bought tons of animals. Both her mother and father love wine, to the point where her mother named her after an expensive beverage purse, and they are both often too drunk to look after anything. Charlene is hoping that she can spend her life at home, living off her parents while she continues to volunteer for the rest of her life.
Other: Will feel extremely guilty if anyone she's talking to turns out to be an animal activist, and do her best to make up for it

Carl stands at about 5’10 and is of a lanky stature. He doesn’t have a lot muscle and has no fighting experience so he mostly just ignores everyone. And it doesn’t help that he slouches a lot. He has pale skin that clashes with his dark brown hair and eyes. Lastly he has a small mole right above his lip.
Style: His clothing is simple and quick to put on. Hoodie, jeans, and boots. That’s it, five minutes and he is down. The color and design varies but it is usually on the darker end with the occasional band symbol.
Personality: Quiet, calculating, quick wit if given the chance, not big on authority figures, procrastinates often, and sticks to his morals
Likes: Music, dark humor, history, quiet, writing, and geography
Dislikes: Crowds, unnecessary rules, abused power, athletics, and loud sounds.
Background: Carl grew up in a somewhat big household. Two parents and four siblings, everyday was one petty fight after another. He was the middle child so he was ignored as his parents were busy. Carl was never the golden oldest child or the precious youngest child and he never will be. He mostly went on with life trying to avoid conflict as some of his siblings have a nasty sense of humor. This was the last place you expected someone like him to be in as he liked quiet and is easily annoyed by random sounds. But that is his household so Carl hid in his room a lot which was shared with his older brother. But he still loves his siblings when they aren’t stealing his stuff.
Other: He knows ASL as his younger brother has a hearing impairment and this is the easiest way to communicate with him.

Seth is 6’1 with a slim build. Although he does have a little muscle on him for the occasional adventure in the woods. He has lightly tan skin that goes well with his brown hair. At some angles, it seems like his hair fades from black to light brown tips. He also has light blue eyes that are covered by glasses.
Style: Your standard clothes for hiking. Usually it would be beige jean shorts along with sturdy hiking boots. On top, he wears a thin white shirt that is covered by a vest.
Role: Map Guy
Strengths: Maps, geography, long walks, and random nature facts
Weaknesses: Social interactions, parkour, puzzles, and riddles

(@Aqua_Marie64 Don’t know if that was directed to but it if it is, I got to tell you hoodies is the way I go. They are warm, good for any weather where I am from, and function like short with a little something extra. I never tried elastic dresses though so I can’t say for sure if hoodies are better.)

(pfff yeah, it was directed at your character sozz, hoodies are comfy, I'm sure, but don't you struggle with the actual cap bit of it sometimes? With me,it sometimes gets stuck)

(i actually agree with @Stargazerwriter78. i definitely prefer hoodies. being really skinny, elastic dresses either cling to me too much or not at all. if i wear a dress, it's gonna have a zip and be fitting because of fabric rather than elastic. sorry)
