"Very efficient staff here at The Habit," Icarus commented, leaving a side note of 'Thank you' to the waiter as he rushed off to serve another table.
"I suppose we can pick up where we left off later…" Icarus mused to Truth as he took a bite of his sandwich.
Truth hummed as he glanced down at the silverwear. Glancing around to see if anyone was paying attention, he extended his claws and cut up the steak into neat blocks of bloody beef. He licked his lips, his claws disappeared, and he started to eat.

Icarus tried not to stare as Truth cut his meat and began to eat, and instead tried to focus on his own meal. He ate his sandwich quicker than he had anticipated, as besides this meal the only other thing he had ingested that day was his Iced Americano from that morning. He only paused once to take a deep breath and to take a swig from his nearly-empty glass.
Truth quickly ate his meal too, not having eaten since the previous day. Scrumptious human hearts were only (approximately) 14oz! Truth not only finished his steak, but also his second bottle of bourbon. He leaned back after licking the plate clean (with his hella long tongue), and burped with satisfaction.
(Oh that's cool. I didn't know a human heart weighed that much lol. And of course ya gotta add the tongue description lol) (Sorry I can't respond at the moment. I'll try to get back to this soon cuz my anxiety fucking launched itself into space and I feel like I'm gonna cry)

Icarus felt a shiver run put his spine at the sight of how long Truth's tongue was as he watched the demon lick his plate clean. He managed to swallow the last bite of his sandwich without choking on it.
"Satisfied?" Icarus asked him after the man burped.
(;O;)
Truth hummed. “Yeah, I will be. Let’s pay and get out of here.” Truth pulled up a hand and started picking at his teeth.
(I'm sorry I'm such a pathetic, anxious mess lol)
Icarus raised his eyebrow in a questioning way before flagging down a passing waiter to ask for the bill. He left the appropriate amount of money for the meals but he made sure to tip the waiter 20%. He tucked away his wallet into his back pocket and stood up, fixing his tie.
"Shall we leave now?" he asked, one of his feet already angled toward the exit.

Truth nodded and rose carefully out of booth, avoiding standing to his full height. “Let’s,” Truth murmured, with a glance to Icarus. He put his hands in his pockets and led out of the resturant, his wings blooming out of his back.
Icarus followed Truth out of the restaurant, holding his hands behind his back almost in a soldier-like fashion. He eyed Truth's freed wings jealously as his own wings shifted uncomfortably underneath the suit jacket.
"So I suppose you'll be off then?" He asked, curious but a very small bead of hope lingered.
Truth put his hands on his hips and glanced back at Icarus. “You weren’t going to follow me? I thought we had a silent…” Truth turned forward towards Icarus and ran a finger down his chest, gazing into Icarus’ eyes. “Pact,” The word lingered as Truth spoke it, lingered in the dewy night air.
Icarus felt that small bead of hope bloom into a delicate flower in his chest. He stared at Truth in near disbelief.
"O-oh," He felt a wave of… something wash over him. What is this feeling? This new emotion?
"Of course…" Icarus could see his own breath in the night air.
Truth clicked his tongue, and stroked a finger under his chin, holding it for a few moments, then off. The place where he held it was cold in the night air.
“Let’s go, then,” Truth purred, snapping his entrancing gaze away from Icarus’ and launched off suddenly into the air. He held it, waiting for Icarus to follow.
Icarus let out a shaky sigh before whipping off his suit jacket and allowing his wings to stretch out and take flight. He flew up, his feathered wings gliding through the cool night air as he joined Truth in the sky. He loved the kiss of the cold breeze against his warm face and ruffled feathers.
"Where to?"

Truth hovered in the air next to Icarus. “Maybe back to my place…?” He trailed off delicately, before launching back to the north, not warning Icarus at all.
"Uh, okay… Hey WAIT!" Icarus laughed as he had to take off after Truth, going northbound. He tried his best to keep pace with the demon, but it had been a while since he had flown at fast speeds such as this.
Truth cackled over his shoulder and barely swerved out of the way of a telephone pole.
“CATCH ME IF YOU CAN,” Truth howled at Icarus as he sped away.
"Wha–woah!" Icarus dodged the telephone pole, nearly clipping his wing. He quickly rose himself above the height of poles and lamps before rushing after Truth.
"WHAT DO I GET IF I CATCH YOU?" He yelled above the wind once he was close enough for Icarus to hopefully hear him.
(I’ll be off for an undefined amount of time. I’d like a response when I get back. If I take a while, stay safe, and don’t worry about me.)
Truth rolled his eyes.
“YOU GET TO TAKE THE WHEEL IF YOU CATCH MY DRIFT!” Truth shouted back snarkily.
(Alrighty. Good luck with whatever you're about to do lol. And of course I'll worry about you, you're my friend, right? I worry and care about my friends.)
"FINE BY ME!" Icarus called back with a smirk. He couldn't help but chuckle at his newfound motivation for catching up with Truth. He took a deep breath before he began to push himself faster and harder with each beat of his wings, slowly gaining ground on Truth.

Truth glanced over his shoulder, smirking. He thinks I’ll let up that easily? Well, Icarus was clueless as to where Truth’s house was, enabling Truth to easily trick dat boi.
Truth scooped out of the sky, towards the ground very quickly, squinting at the ground, ready to pull back up.
Plus, my house is just ahead. If Icarus does see through my ruse… I’ll beat him anyway.
Icarus hesitated. He didn't want to dive after Truth, I mean his wings wouldn't be able to stop himself in time if he does crash into either the ground or into Truth. Icarus kept flying along above Truth, keeping his eyes on the demon.
Please don't get hurt… he wished to himself. He had no clue where Truth's place would be, and he didn't want to accidentally show up at the wrong place.
Truth saw his little home in the distance and curved closer to the ground. The buildup on the road shivered as he shot past, his body curving forward so his feet skidded on the ground.
A few moments later, he ran forward a few feet, almost right into the door of his one-story flat.
Icarus dived down once he singled out Truth and his house, and landed a few steps behind Truth a few moments later. He shook his wings to smooth his ruffled feathers, finally tucking his wings in behind him. Icarus observed the one-story flat with curiosity; he had never seen this type of odd building before.
"So this is your place, yeah?" He asked, slightly dumbfounded by the building.
Truth’s wings shivered and disappeared abruptly. “Yes, it is. Yet, the task at hand…” He unlocked the door to his home, which gave off vibes of blantant handiwork.
“Come in…” He purred gently before sauntering into the house’s living room.
Icarus drew in a sharp breath as he entered Truth's home. He looked around the living room as he closed the door behind him with a soft thud. Unsure whether to lock the door or not, so he just locked the hand lock of the doorknob. He turned to walk into the living room, marveling at decorations he's never seen before and testing the fluffiness of the sofa/couch.
"Nice place you have here, Truth." Icarus turned to the demon. "How did you come about to own this place?"
Truth shrugged and pulled off his belt, which was itching into his waist all night. “I built it when I got here.” The belt plopped to the ground as his feet lifted off of the ground; he was floating, suspended in midair, rather than his own long legs. He drifted over to Icarus and plopped down onto the couch, strewing his legs over Icarus’ lap.
