"No, Hep would never let us use his forge. There are some other ones around we can go to." He met her gaze steadily.

"Of course the god of blacksmithing wouldn't let me use his forge. I'm such a fucking idiot." Elise looked down at her gun parts. "Well, at least I got these done."

Havenwood rubbed her back. "Look, it's not your fault. Hep has always been an ass, to everyone, not just mortals."

"Is everyone here an ass except you?" They began to walk back.

"No, the Goddesses are all really great. Apollo, my twin, is cool too. I'm kinda surprised he hasn't come around yet."

"Well, of course the goddesses are good. Athena gave me directions." Elise just then noticed that they were walking very couple-ish, with Havenwood's hand still on her back. She didn't make any move to pull away.

"I like Athena. She always came over and talked to Apollo and I when we were kids." He smiled at the memory.

"Yeah, she seems nice." There was silence. "So where am I going to melt all the silverware now?"

Havenwood chuckled. "I can get you metal. Plus, I can ask Athena where we can go."

"That silverware was actually silver, though. I like it." Elise pretended to pout.

"Of course it was silver!" Havenwood exclaimed. "Why wouldn't it be?"

"Well, down in the land of lowly mortals it's usually something like Pewter or Tin. It's cheap." She replied, laughing.

Havenwood laughed. "Not here, silver is plentiful. I can get you some scrap metal. By metal, I mean silver if you prefer."

"Yes, please. It's much more durable. Children can bend our spoons back home," She looked up at him to see his response.

Havenwood shook his head with a slight smile. "Pathetic. Children are stronger than mortal metal."

"Yeah, that kind of sums it up." They reached the door.

Havenwood laughed again then opened the front door, removing his hand from her back. "In you go," He hummed gently allowing her to go first.

Elise went in and twirled herself down on the couch.
"Look, I'm sorry about Hep. I made him get mad at you because of my own stupidity." She sighed, running a finger through her hair.

Havenwood grinned at her and set the rabbit down on the counter. "That's okay."

"I won't wander off again. Everyone I run into seems to be quite an ass." Elise sighed.

"Good idea. Not everyone is an ass, but I wouldn't recommend running off." He turned to face her and sat down next to her on the couch. "You might get lost."

"I wasn't running off." Elise looked into those strangely captivating eyes.
"Havenwood…" A sudden feeling she couldn't explain overcame her. It felt a bit like she was at a climax.

"I'm going to make a daring guess and assume this is right." Elise leaned in all the way and softly pressed her lips to his.
