“I know.” She sighed. “I don’t usually sleep much.”

“It’s fine, though.” Her eyelids drooped.

When they got to the cabin, Elise nearly collapsed onto the bed.

Havenwood stretched luxuriously, then plopped down next to her.

Elise was already drifting off to sleep. She hadn't slept in…four days. She probably would only sleep for half an hour, and stay on another vigil for a few more nights after that.
