"You can't hide from the God of Hunting. Come on out. I won't hurt you."

"Maybe if you moved your mass away from the only exit, I would. Logic, mon ami." Elise still didn't meet his eyes.

"There's plenty of room for you to shimmy by," Havenwood replied sarcastically.

Elise grunted and moved her leg, only for it to collide into Havenwood's chest. "See? Move it."

Havenwood rolled his eyes and scooted back a couple feet.

She rolled out from under the bed, getting up to brush off the dust bunnies. Still, she didn't meet his eyes.
"I…wasn't supposed to be in there. You're mad at me, aren't you?"

Havenwood shrugged. "Humankind is naturally curious."

"You're not mad at me, then? Huh. I expected you to throw me off the mountain or something." Elise risked a glance upward.

Havenwood glanced away from her. "I never specified your boundaries. You get a warning."

"What can I possibly do that was worse than that? You threatened me about this room!" Elise strided out, plopping on the couch.

(Alive I am. Roleplay I shall)

Havenwood shook his head and followed her out of the room. "I don't know why you're getting worked up."

Elise froze. She blinked twice, then looked at him.
"Your things were in there. Especially the pict…your things were in there. I assumed you didn't want me in there. At all."

"Like I said, Mortals are naturally curious. I don't mind."

Elise stares at him for a couple seconds.
"You…you don't…mind? At all? That I was looking at the things in your room?"

Havenwood shrugged. "You, being the asshole you are, would've at some point."

"Alright. Fair enough." Elise rolled off the couch and onto the carpet facedown. "I'm really very tired."

"Then sleep. I'm going to cook something." Havenwood shut the door to his room and walked over to the little kitchen, then promptly started cutting open the ox.

But Elise didn't sleep, and she listened to the rrrrip of the Ox's hide and the chop chop of the large knife. Pretending to have just woken up, she rolled over.
"I want my gun back."

person_off

"No," Havenwood said breathlessly. Cutting open an ox was hard work.

"Why not? It's mine," Elise argued, sitting up to see Havenwood bent over the ox, muscles heaving. She laid back down quickly, breath hitching.
God, he's hot. Wait, what? No, he's an ugly creep.

"I need it. It works well." He wiped the sweat off of his forehead then hung up some meat on the window and over the sink.
