Ana stirred awake, blinking her eyes against the sunlight streaming into the room.

Extremely specific.

Breeze yawned and blinked the sleep from her eyes. She slowly sat up on the bed, slightly hoping they hadn't slept the day away.

Ana wrapped her arms around her pillow, stretching out her long legs with a deep inhale. She loved sleeping on beds.

Breeze looked down at Ana. She smiled slightly, wait. Wait! WAIT!

Ana glanced over at Bree.
“Morning, human.”

"Afternoon, angel," Breeze slightly corrected. She had caught sight of the clock and it was only around 2.

Ana glanced over at the clock. “Ah! Human is correct. Good afternoon.”

"I'm normally right," Breeze grinned slightly.

Ana gave her a look. “You haven’t been for the time I’ve been here.”

"Oh shuddup, I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all," Breeze sighed.

Ana shrugged. “It’s not hard to grasp. You’ve helped an Angel, so in return I assist you.”

"Not that part, the whole angels exist thing. It just doesn't make logical sense at the moment."

Ana glanced at her. “Sure we exist. Why don’t we?”

"Because people with wings don't make any anatomical sense! Like what muscles connect with the wings so they can move? Is your back in constant pain or not? I need to know!!!!"

Ana laughed gently. “They aren’t connected to our backs in the way you think, human.”

"Then how are they connected?" Breeze was generally curious. Her hand absentmindedly ran along the edge of one of Ana's wings. It was so soft.

“Underneath my shoulderblades, totally connected by muscle. It does get pretty painful whenever I tuck them up, but otherwise it’s alright.”

"Oh so that is quite strange and explains why you keep them out a lot."

Ana nodded. “Indeed it does. It makes flying a breeze, though.”

"I would think so," Breeze responded, "Heh. Breeze."

Ana rolled her eyes at Bree. “I didn’t mean it like that, human.”

"I know," Breeze laughed a little, "I'm just being breezy."

Ana shook her head. “Please stop, human.”

"What? Is my fallen angel not happy with all the pun I'm having?"

Ana huffed. “No, I’m not. It’d be appreciated if you stopped.”

Breeze sighed, "Fine. I'll stop, one last question though. Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?"
