Anauren held her wings up. The wing-joints were totally black, and so was her hair.
"No! I'm fine! I can help myself!"

Breeze looked to the thing's wings. Then to their hair, "Your hair and, wings, are turning black. Did you know that?"
"Shut up!" Anauren roared. She didn't want to hear that. "I don't need to know that!"
Breeze flinched slightly. God they had a loud voice, "You kind of do! From my observations the blacker they get the weaker you get!"
"Shut up!" Anauren screeched at her. "Just go away! I'll deal with this on my own! I don't need your…" She felt herself fading as her voice grew louder.
Breeze flinched again and walked towards the creature, "You clearly can't! Your emotions are getting to you and making it worse!"
Anauren shuffled back from her, shaking her head to clear the mist. "No. I'm fine! Go away!" She returned to her shouty, angry state.
Breeze stopped moving seeing that it wasn't doing any good to the situation, "What will it take for you to be willing to allow me to help you."
Anauren shook her head. “Nothing! Just go away, I don’t need help!”
Breeze leaned back and crossed her arms, "And I won't leave until I help you."
Anauren fluffed out her wings in agitation. “Fine. What do you plan on doing with me in order to help me, Breeze?” She scowled and sneered at Breeze’s name when she said it.
Breeze opened her mouth let a sneer fall onto her face, "I am a med student. I am training to do this kind of thing in the future. So probably take you to my place so you can rest, and I can get a better look at you."
Anauren snarled angrily at Breeze. “Fine, since I’m just so injured, go ahead and take me under your wing!” Anauren tried to stand but stumbled.
Breeze ran-walked over to the creature and offered a hand to help them up, "Well I don't know that your so injured. Here, let me help."
Anuaren glared up at Breeze but took her hand anyway and hoisted herself up. “There. Fine. Where do you live?”
"In an apartment just a few blocks from here," Breeze responded keeping an eye on the creature, "It should be a short walk if you can handle it."
Anauren shifted so she had more weight on Breeze than her legs. She knew they’d heal by tomorrow, but for now she had to be careful.
“I’ll be able to handle it, Breeze,” she sneered.
Breeze felt the shift and started to slowly move towards her apartment, "Great. Then I could let go and you'd be fine?"
“What do you mean by that?” Anaured asked suddenly. “Let me walk by myself?”
"Yeah, I'd be nearby to lead you, but that would be it," Breeze didn't want the thing to hurt itself more. But if the thing could see how weak it really was, then maybe it would stop being so stubborn.
“No! That’d be ridiculous for me to try!” Anaured exclaimed angrily. Perhaps this human didn’t know what they were doing.
Breeze smirked slightly, "Then you'll be more willing to me helping you?"
Anaured scowled at the ground. “Yes. I’d be willing to allow you to help me recover.”
Breeze let out a slight giggle, "Great! Then let's go!"
Anaured rolled her eyes and started to hobble with Breeze’s pace. This human is certainly an odd one.
Breeze looked along the buildings and made a small exclamation as they reached her apartment, "And we're going right!"
Adauren shifted as they approached the apartments. “I suppose we are, then.” She frostily forced herself to agree with Breeze.
Breeze walked up to the door and reached into her pocket for the keys. Her fingers fumbled for a moment before grabbing a hold of them. She unlocked the door and let them in. She turned to close and lock the door behind her, "Hey, walk to the couch if you can. Use the walls if you have too."
Adaruen nodded and leaned off of her, stumbling drunkenly over to the couch, her wings flapping occasionally to keep her upright. She soon made it to the couch and plopped down with a faint groan.
Breeze had run into the bathroom to grab what medical supplies she kept in her apartment. She walked back to the couch and set in all on the end table. She looked at the creature, "So, what exactly are you?"
