Julia keeps her arms open.

He hugs her tightly.

Julia hums softly, holding him close. “My baby…”

He looks at her, “I love you, Mam. . .”

She smiles, “I love you too, baby boy…”

He huffs, grumbling annd hiding his face.

(Me waiting for her to realize the big af bruise on his face- it’s very CLEARLY a handprint-)

(XD she sees it- thats why shes hugging him-)

Julia smiles, kissing the top of his head. “What? It’s true…” She sighs.

(Me just waiting for Harold to see it Protective dad mode)

Reo sighs, “I know. . .”

Julia hums, gently rocking him.

Harold grumbles. “The fucks goin on out here? I’m tryna sleep-“

Reo speaks, hiding his face, “Papa-“

Harold looks at him. “What did that boy do?”

Reo bites his lip, pulling away from Julia, “Papa. I’m fine.”

Harold pauses, then snarls. “Where’s my damn shotgun?”

Julia gasps, “Harold!”

Reo flinches, “Papa!” He bites his lip, “I’m fine, Papa.”

Harold growls. “No. No one hurts my son.”

Julia frowns. “Harold. Calm yourself.”

“I’m not hurt, papa.” He mutters, “Shoot him and I’ll shoot you myself.”

Harold’s eye twitches, but he huffs and walks back into the bedroom.

Julia sighs, kissing Reo’s forehead. “Get some rest, baby boy…”

Reo nods, walking to his room, curling up in bed, silent.

(Harold: Is too pissed to listen to Reo and finds Lixian, giving him a piece of his mind)

Julia goes back to the bedroom, scolding Harold.

Reo stays curled up in bed, not moving.

After about three days, Reo goes back to Lixian, knocking on the ront door. "Lixian!"

Lixian pauses, then decides to stay quiet.

Reo huffs, "Fine. . . I'll let myself in. . ." He goes inside.

Reo moves over to him, sitting next to him, nuzzling into his side, "I'm sorry. . ."

Lixian looks away, silent.

Reo nuzzles into his shoulder, gripping onto hip, "Lix. . ."
