quick clarification, is this in the romance genre?

@CWPoofToxicRush

It could be.

Basics: Two teenage witches find out about each other, and basically have to protect their asshole classmates from the supernatural.

Huh.
I like it.
Um, I support the LGTBQ+ movement, but I don't really like rp'ing it. So, now that I think about it, no romance, really.

@CWPoofToxicRush

Witches can also be male, witch is a general term

Nice! You can start.

@CWPoofToxicRush

Melody walked down the hall, humming to herself

Jackson plugged in his earbuds and lip-synced, not really looking where he was going in the large middle school.

@CWPoofToxicRush

She slipped into her first period class, sitting in the back and checking the pocket she kept her atheme in.

Jackson could've made it into his first class on time if he'd just gone into the right door. Instead, he had to double back, and the bell rang seconds before he walked into the door.
"Sorry," He told the teacher, sliding into a random seat. As he took his earbuds out, he realized he was sitting across from a girly-girl with a white skirt and flower crown. Her perfume was making him sick. Do they really think that stuff makes them attractive? He wondered. It was too late to switch seats.

@CWPoofToxicRush

She hummed, doodling a few sigils on the first few pages of her notebook, glancing up at the teacher to look like she was paying attention. She had zoned out a bit, the teacher's voice merely white noise, and her class mates just figures nearby.

As usual, Jackson wasn't paying attention to the teacher. Instead, he preferred to watch the other students. He went through all of his classmates, his eyes finally landing on the flower crown girl.
One: She's obviously either a brat or a DIY freak. I mean, look at her. Two: Her perfume is going to knock me out if I sit here any longer. Three: Wait…is she… drawing sigils in her notebook?
Jackson looked away, but his eyes kept flitting to the girl's notebook. Yes, they were sigils, and they weren't amateur ones, either. Those were the real deal. He sucked in a sharp breath, opening his own notebook. They couldn't really be her work. She was a crazy wannabe, copying off of some witchcraft book.

@CWPoofToxicRush

She played around with her necklace a bit, looking up again.

Jackson hurriedly looked away, fingering his own ring with the mark of Jupiter, paying sudden attention to the teacher. His thoughts were still on the girl, though. It's kind of weird that a girly-girl like her is practicing wannabe witchcraft,..if it is even fake… He shuddered lightly.

@CWPoofToxicRush

She got up as the bell rang, snapping her notebook shut and tucking her necklace in her sweater as she picked up her bag, pocket with the atheme still open.

Curious, Jackson followed her to their next class, forgetting his textbook. He ran back and got it, got a detention, and class began. He couldn't help glancing back at the girl. He was nearly convinced. Besides, where was the risk? If she was interested in witchcraft that much, it wouldn't hurt to strike up a topic…would it?

@CWPoofToxicRush

She chewed her finger nail absently, staring out the window. Uhg, why can't something mildly interesting happen?

Jackson was wondering just the same thing as the clock ticked by until lunch, when he'd strike up the conversation in the lunch line or something - far away from her friends. He tapped his pencil against his ring nervously.

@CWPoofToxicRush

She walked out, smiling as she headed down to the lunch room

Jackson jumped up, crammed his stuff into his locker, and bounded after her. Walking a few paces behind her, he saw that she was still doodling sigils. Taking a deep breath, he walked up next to her.

@CWPoofToxicRush

She looked up, blinking a bit. "…Hello." She said, confused.

"So…uh…" Crap. Think, Pearl, think! "I saw some sigils in your notebook - I wasn't stalking, I promise-" Nice one. You're a disgrace to the Pearl name. "But, um, I do that kind of stuff, too, and there aren't a lot of people who do."

@CWPoofToxicRush

She perked up, smiling. "Really? I didn't think it was that obvious- oh, well. What's your name, again?"

"Jackson Pearl." He smiled back awkwardly.
