“Welllllll, DK kinda made a… fort. You can sleep there if you want. Also”, Sofie said quickly, “I prefer my fish raw. But if you cook it I won’t complain… And I eat a lot. I mean A LOT. But you don’t have to save anything for me.” Sofie stopped talking, realizing that she was just rambling.

I wake up and I turn into my normal form, I walk out of the treehouse and I see sofie with two different wolves I shake my head as I jump down from the treehouse and walk to the clearing

Riverpaw poked her head out of the roots, seeing the cats and DK back in the clearing. She muttered to herself for a moment before stepping out and silently gathering some stuff from her and Sofie's collection so she could start on her little den.

Sofie sighed and waved a paw at DK. She turned to Moxie and Duchess, “It’s ok if I take some fish and start working on my hammock right?” Sofie was already picking up some vines.

'Oh, you're making a hammock?' Duchess placed the fish down, already rounding up some sticks and twigs to make a fireplace. Moxie, swallowed two gulps of her fish before she continued.
'That's alright. Maybe we can cook one half of the batch and the other half stays raw. We'll go into the den later after dinner, we need a bit of grooming.' She went back to eating, while Duchess kept having trouble with the fire. The rubbing stick method wasn't working.
'Oh my… Moxie's too busy, is anyone here strong enough to help me with a fire? I could never tell by myself.'
I walk over and a fireball appears in my claw as I toss it on the sticks making a fire "there, is that better"

Sofie watched DK light the fire with big, terrified eyes. She didn’t have any fire powers and those who did scared her. Sofie was more used to the cold and had not had good experiences with fire. After almost dying in a pit of lava, Sofie had grown a little bit of a phobia. Hurriedly, Sofie grabbed a couple of fish and opened her wings. With a whoosh and a couple of flaps she was up in the tree branches. Carefully and thoughtfully, she picked a wide, strong-looking branch and began to reinforce it with the vines.

Looks at Sofie as she tied some of the vines on some branches and I look back at the fire

Riverpaw put a couple bunches of leaves and grass on top of a few bushes and dragged them under the roots. She pressed the bushes and grass flat and covered the empty spots with the leaves, then she went back out and tied and tucked longer, wider strands of grass and vines to the roots to hide the den. While she was pulling out the flowers, she glanced at the den. It looked a lot like the first den she and her sister made together.
She whimpered and took the flowers inside.

Sofie finished her hammock and settled down into it. She faced the few stars that had begun to appear and watched them twinkle through the branches. Their patterns were unfamiliar to her. The moon was just a small sliver in the darkening sky, it was hardly thicker than one of Sofie’s whiskers. She sighed, remembering the one time she had actually planted her feet on a moon. She missed those days when she was young and bold and unaware of all the danger around her. She missed Gray by her side and her carefree spirit. She didn’t have to worry about her friends being in danger then. She only had to worry that she’d be able to visit them in time for their birthday. Sofie let herself remember knowing that she wouldn’t be able to sleep that night.

(So, uh, I’d like to explain something. Remember when Sofie had that really weird sudden headache and was like “more flashbacks that aren’t mine”? Well that’s because she’s tied to another wolf named Iris. They’re kinda like twins but not if you know what I mean 😂 but Sofie is basically having flashbacks of Iris’s life. Sofie gets a massive headache because her magic is a little broken and the flashbacks are kinda magic… it’s hard to explain but Sofie used to be able to handle large amounts of magic and now she can’t. Iris has flashbacks too, but she doesn’t get a headache cause her magic isn’t broken.)

Duchess successfully cooked half the batch of fish, having eaten three already. Moxie had finished her fill, and wandered towards one of the wolves. But then she remembered, she didn't know where the den is. She looked at the pair of wolves helping with a hammock, something Moxie might be able to help with, but she wasn't sure if she could have one for herself either.
'Hey, can you please tell me where the den is?'
'Didn't she show us already? No… I forgot, sorry dear.'

Sofie peered over the edge of her hammock, shaken from her memories by Moxie and Duchess’s voices. She called down to them and pointed in the direction of DK’s base, “You can sleep there, or if you want you can make a hammock; there’s enough leftover vines!” Sofie lingered, her paw hanging over the edge of the hammock as she waited for a response from the cats.
