“No, I don’t,” Phoebe started, rubbing her arm. “There’s a cabin nearby that seems safe enough though, I can drop you off.”
Scarlet nodded. “Thanks.” There was so much she wanted to ask, so much she was still confused about, but she kept it to herself. She wanted to ask how Phoebe had been, how she’d escaped, but she remained silent.

Virgil walked up to stand beside Scarlet. "Hello." He said and waved awkwardly. "I'm Virgil." He introduces himself nervously, this is the first person he had talked to, other than Scarlet and the queen, in a very long time.

"Oh! Teresa!" Nykidia said. "I have a new hat for you!" She said puling a hat out of her bag. It was a short top hat that had a flower of cards (with all of them except the hearts) And in the middle was a big club symbol. "How do you like it?" She said handing it to her.

“Not nice to meet you, Virgil,” Phoebe said flippantly before stalking off. “C’mon, this way.”
Scarlet followed, tucking her distinct red hair into her hood. I need to dye it somehow, it’s too recognizable. Falling into step next to Virgil, she allowed her shoulders to relax. “We got out.”

Virgil gave a strained smile, using all of his magic took a lot out of him. "We got out." He said in confirmation, feeling more comfortable once his friend was next to him.
Scarlet’s brow furrowed slightly. “You must be drained.” She studied his face, his tense gait. He looked utterly exhausted. “You should sleep once we get… wherever we’re going.”

Virgil started to protest but saw the look on Scarlet's face. "F-fine, I'll sleep when we get there." He says, his posture kinda deflates. He was very, very tired.
Scarlet exhaled, satisfied. “Good, you need it.” Her mind drifted for a moment, before she drew it back. “It feels so strange, to be out here.”

"Hopefully it stays that way, forever."
Scarlet nodded, falling silent. We got out. Oh my god we got out.. They would be on the run forever now, but she didn’t care. They got out.

“We’re here - just up ahead,” Phoebe stopped suddenly, gesturing. “I’lol take you in.” She knocked twice on the door, quick and sharp.

“It’s Phoebe, that’s the knock we had decided on.” She said quickly standing up and opening the door “Phoebe! -oh. I see you brought guests.” She turned back into the room “Nykidia, mind going in the room for a second?” She asked nocely

“Teresa,” Phoebe greeted, nodding her head. She didn’t smile. “Scarlet and a friend got out of the palace, and they need a place to stay.”
