Ōn’nyosh cried out in pain when the creature snapped his ankle, though it only came out as a strained gasp. He then quickly noticed the disappearance of the beast and rolled onto his back, taking several deep breaths.
As he lay there, he realized that it was a game. The creature was gone after the first wound. It was a twisted kind of ‘first blood’ round. Which meant that Round Two would be worse.
He considered his options, searching the ceiling and walls for possible perches or escape routes. However, his thoughts were interrupted when he was restrained again, forced to watch the strange ‘fight’ going on. He had no clue what was going on, but it was definitely annoying the hell out of him.
‘Fuck all of you,’he mouthed.
He was done with everyone’s shit. He wanted to kill the magician with his bare hands, knock the shit out of three idiots around him, find his possessions, and leave. He wouldn’t even bother trying to woo the two women anymore. They weren’t worth it, and they behaved like spoiled children, at best.
"It just does. Looks like you were just born to cheat" Jenna said, with a piercing glare at Ezra.

(so the lab is not accessible from the cave. It overlooks the cave and is behind a thick piece of viewing glass. I didn't feel like correcting Jaiden earlier but your confusion stems from how Joy would have gotten down there. She wouldn't have been able to, but with Six just snapping her back in place it was a moot point anyway shrug but there's the answer)

Ōn’nyosh watched everything with an impassive gaze. He wouldn’t give the magician the satisfaction of him reacting, nor would he bother getting concerned about his fellow prisoners. The guy was the only interesting one in the group, and that was saying something, because Ōn’nyosh practically revered females. But, the young man seemed rather questionable, so Ōn’nyosh would have to keep an eye on him before he attempted interacting with him. He didn’t care about the other two.
