Character A has run away from home and after various days of traveling, they find themselves in the middle of a storm, lost in a forest, hungry and tired. Luckily for them, there's a mansion up ahead and they decide to break in to take shelter from the rain, and to rest a bit. Little do they know that the mansion they decide to break into is the residence of Character B, who just happens to be a vampire.

I probably shouldn't be making another roleplay, but meh, who cares. This will be a found family roleplay with a fantasy/modern setting. Think of Onwards and how they have magical creatures living in a modern world. I will be playing Character B, just because I actually already have a character for them. Personality: He has a somewhat childish attitude and he's not really good at interacting with other people, which is due to his upbringing. He's extremely emotional but tries his best not to show it. If you give him the chance, Nikolaos will talk your ear off about the current book he's reading. He can go weeks without sleep, and months without drinking blood, but if his body collapses (which happens if he has not drunk blood + if he hasn't slept) he will always be grumpy and snippy up til a week or so after the incident.

Backstory: Nikolaos was born to Count Dracula and his second wife Demetria at the height of the Great Dargon War. He was raised in the Dracula family mansion in the middle of a forest, far away from society, due to his father's paranoia. Dracula forbid anyone to leave the vicinity of the forest, but there would be times when Demetria would sneak Nikolaos and Artemia to the nearest village. When he was about eighty, Demetria disappeared, and then ten years later, Dracula disappeared as well. This caused Artemia to move back into the mansion, as Nikolaos was not allowed to be alone, since he was still considered a child by vampire standards. Currently, he lives in his father's mansion, with his half-sister Artemia and a young female gargoyle named Branwen.

Other: He wears a necklace with a black bat charm, which gives him immunity to the sun for a couple of hours (maximum is 4 hours, but he never uses it for more than 2 hours). It resets every 10 hours. Sometimes, he works at the bookshop that his sister owns. As he is a Blood Vampire, he does not require normal food to keep himself alive but will eat things like sandwiches and sweets every once in a while just because he can.

(Basically, the Great Dragon War was where some dragons, vampires, werewolves, and various other creatures fought against Morvar (a dragon) who was pretty much a dictator.)

(i'm so so so so sorry for not responding any sooner! i got caught up finishing a project)

Nikolaos walked down a hallway in the dimly lit mansion. Any other person would have trouble navigating the mansion during nighttime, but not only did he have excellent night vision (he didn't, he was just accustomed to the mansion) he also had excellent hearing and scent. So, it was no surprise to him when Artemia leaped out of behind a suit of armor in an attempt to scare Niko. He merely raised an eye at her, placing his hands on his hips. "Dear sister, you're going to have to do better than that, if you want to scare me."

The woman pouted, pushing her white hair away from her face. *"Aww, I almost had you this time!"

"Yes, of course, keep telling your–" his voice trails off midsentence, his eyes glancing around the room. "Do you smell that? It smells like a…."

"Intruder," Artemia growls, her eyes glowing purple as she turns into a bat, flying toward the direction of the scent. Niko follows her on foot, and somehow, he manages to arrive first than Artemia. He stands in front of a wooden door, the entrance to one of the rooms that's near the main entrance. There are squeaks coming from above him, and he knows it's Artemia telling him to open the door. And so he does. And there, in the room, lies a young manticore, seemingly fast asleep.

"What the fuck."
