T_T

Right.

@SaltyLasagna

This isn’t really a hangout area. It’s a thread for genuine advice about writing adult scenes. Sorry.

There's a million other hangout threads, go to those instead.
Bye.

True. But if you do want to stay and discuss, totally fine. Right guys?

gives the glowering Mom look, the "be friendly to the new kids or else" look.

Yeah, except they came in asking to RP and didn't give any questions.
And Eris is the chat mom, so…..

I'm the weird, out-of-the-way-aunt then.

What Eris says goes but I still feel we should try and be nice?

Idk, I've been on the site for way less time that you. You guys call the shots.

I already claimed the weird aunt but we can be weird aunts together

Uuhhh any roles still out there? Gay older sibling? Or maybe something to do with being emo, and poetry, and maybe musicals? I dunno.

I just read a gorgeous fanfiction where one very socially inadequate character was just like,

I AM THE EMBODIMENT OF SUBTLETY.

Unlike other chats were everyone insists on being family, I am not down for that….soooooo let's not do that. :)

I am the chat moderator. That's all. :D

@RedTheLoveless

So… I have another ood question.

Should I have STDs in my world?

person_off
Deleted user

depends. Is it a plot point for your characters? Comic relief? Or just something you want to add?

I would assume that it could be a little implied already, depending on the story.

@RedTheLoveless

Well it's important to a side story that happened to pop up unexpectedly (following the interesting life of an important aide character).

If it's a fantasy world, you can make up your own STD

person_off

^^^ exactly.

If it's important to the character and/or story then hell yea! Throw it in. It's your story, you can do whatever you want!

@RedTheLoveless

Sweet. Thanks guys

Ann O. Ymous

ive never tried writing about intense relationships partly bc ive never been in one before…

@Simon-Says

lmao mood.

Ann O. Ymous

lol🤣

That is valid. It's not for everyone

Ann O. Ymous

True, but I'd like to try sometime.

Ye man it'd never hurt to try (lmao). I used to be the same way, now I make my characters smash like it!s the end of the world 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly I find it quite fun? Is that weird? It's like smashing minus the added emotion and it's helping out with your writing, too.

Ann O. Ymous

Yeah, lol I'm gonna try sometime!
I don't think it's weird, it's pretty awesome that you can do that!

I know this is about sexy times, but does anyone have advice for writing a kiss scene?
For the characters in question, it's definitely not Henry's first kiss, but it is Victor's, or at least his first time kissing a guy.

Kissing counts as a looooooooooooooooooooooove scene. :P

Id keep it short and sweet. No matter how many times and/or people you've kissed, you are still going to be a little nervous/excited about kissing a person for the first time. So both being a little silly and weird is normal. Laughing and smiling is super normal too. Even if there is wild sexual tension, that first kiss is going to be reminiscent of innocence.

Does that make sense?
