Usernames didn't used to have a character limit so for a little while, people had this trend of having the longest username on the site
There'd be full copy-pasted songs, usernames took up entire pages, load times were horrendous, it was a disaster (I seriously thought my computer was gonna crash trying to load it all)
And thus, the username character limit was created
Believe me, it was XD
We cannot be trusted with no character limits here, it will get abused

but maybe like a max of 300 characters
