Hi there! Are you using an ad blocker (uBlock Origin, Adblock Plus, etc) on your Android tablet? We've actually had some issues with those extensions hiding the social tab specifically. Other than turning them off for this site (we don't have any ads), one fix that has helped people is to just rename the Social tab to something else; it seems they really just don't like links named "Social".
If that's not the case, it'll definitely be something related to the tablet. I would also try to see if the Social tab displays correctly on a different browser on the tablet (and therefore narrow it down to something in Firefox, specifically).

Your suggestion worked. The social tab is working again after I white listed the site from my adblocker.
