There's been a lot of error 500 messages lately (mainly the Incognito Chat and the Debate Debate Debate chat, which still cannot be accessed). Has this been happening to anyone else?

It's happening to me too. There are even some PMs that I cannot access. Sometimes, at random intervals, I also just can't access the forums as a whole.

It’s been happening to me too since 12 AM today.
I can go on certain chats but other ones such as the debate chat I’m completely unable to.

I've got error 500 too, just now when I tried to post to an Ro in my pms. And I got it while stalking another thread sometime last night as well.

In fact, I can't see PIckles' old account at all. I get an Error 500 for that too.

I got one for the Incorrect Character Quotes chat yesterday, but I can access it now.

Can someone send me a link to Pickles' old account (the one you can't access)? There aren't any server errors, but it looks like something on the individual pages is causing an error in the image library. For example, https://www.notebook.ai/forum/general-chat/debate-debate-debate/page-287 errors but https://www.notebook.ai/forum/general-chat/debate-debate-debate/page-288 doesn't.

My guess is someone might've accidentally uploaded a corrupted avatar and it's causing error 500s everywhere it's being displayed, but I'm still looking for a pattern across pages. If anyone has any other pages they're getting a 500 error on repeatedly, feel free to share here so I can look at them also!

I've been getting those too! Mostly just randomly though. I got one for one of my PMs, and for a while yesterday I couldn't access the forums at all

It won't let me see page 288, so maybe 287 is the source of the error in the chat?

Ah, the thread's probably just redirecting you to the page you were on earlier, which is probably the page with the error. Thanks for the extra info.

@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) you mentioned corrupt avatar–I changed mine yesterday (finally after 2 years lol) and since the chats in question are both 'mine' I thought maybe that it was MY avatar, so I changed it again this morning.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut the issue is still occurring :(

Haha, no worries @Kyubi. I'm pretty sure I found the culprit (Who Shall Not Be Named, Even Though They Did Nothing Wrong) and I'm working on a fix now. I'll remove the bad avatar manually, but I'll have a fix shortly that'll just have people fall back to Gravatar avatars if there are any errors with the uploaded image.

Hang in there, a fix is on the way soon. :)
