I've noticed that a lot of people have been deleting and re-creating their accounts. I understand how they might want to 'start over' but the deleting and re-creating can get really confusing and mess up RPs and stuff.
Idk if I'm the only one getting bothered by this but @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) if you have any thoughts on it, please let me know!
It's been bugging me a tiny bit as well, just because I'm having issues keeping track of who's who.
Before having thoughts on it, I'd like to better understand why people are deleting and recreating their accounts. I don't think I'd like to outright stop people from having the ability to delete and recreate their account, but I would like to understand the motivation so I can build features that are easier for users than having to delete their entire account.
If anyone has deleted and recreated their account, I'd love to hear why and/or what you were trying to accomplish by doing so. Thanks! :)
Try @ Cupcake-Filled-With-Thumbtacks. Logan does it fairly often, I think to mainly clear notifs
If I remember right, @ Cupcake-Filled-With-Thumbtacks changes users a lot not delete recreate.
Actually Logan does delete recreate a lot y'all should be tagging them right tho lol

If anyone has deleted and recreated their account, I'd love to hear why and/or what you were trying to accomplish by doing so.
Hm, well the first time was becuase I needed a break, I didn't know when I would be back and I didn't want the temptation to spend all my time on here talking when I should be focusing on work.
The second was becuase I had been pressured by a toxic friend to only talk to her.
The third was becuase I took another break and I came back to about 53 notifs and 12 pms from people asking me where I was.
The last time was becuase my parents had deleted my account and only left me enough time to say goodbye.
Now, I'm here and I have another account which is where all my characters and such are whereas this one is for chatting and getting advice on the forums.

I also kinda wished I could use my old email that I had at first, because I had to go through creating another email account.
@Periwinkle I'm pretty sure you can change your email address in settings, no matter which one you signed up with: https://www.notebook.ai/users/edit
@andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) It sounds like a "Delete all notifications" button would be useful. I only ever have 1 or 2 notifications, but I can imagine how for people in a whole slew of chats they could really pile up.
mine always goes to the error page when I try to use my old email.
