So, I feel kind of mean saying this, but the new profile layout… I preferred the old one. Is there any way there could be, like, a setting where you can choose if you want your profile to be displayed the 'old' way or the 'new' one?
I appreciate the update 11098018194809%, I just feel like it could be a cool personalization setting.
Haha, I'm not sure I like the new design yet either, so it'll probably change at least a few more times until we land on a good design that everyone likes. For now, I'm gathering data on how often people use/share/change/etc the current style (with profile fields on the side) versus the last one (with profile fields full-width at the top) so I can be better informed to improve it again.
A personalization setting like that might be useful eventually, but I'd rather do that when we have a few awesome designs instead of choosing between each iteration/improvement, because it can start adding up to double the work to super both options whenever I edit that page in the future.
I appreciate the feedback though, and the profile will definitely improve from here. :)
