its possible you need a proper username for the forums
go look in your bio and look for the edit button, the second text box below the one with the name on your account is the one to fill in with a user.
Hmm, you shouldn't need a username to have to post on the forums (especially if you're posting in this thread!), but if it's not working for some reason you can always send me a PM or submit one of the feedback forms in the Help Center!
