I made this account to ask for help with accessing my account on my other email address. I haven't worked on my story for a few months because college got in the way, but now that I'm coming back to it I realize that I don't remember my password. I'll send the recovery email and enter my new password, but it doesn't work and the message "Username is invalid" appears. I've tried several new passwords, making sure they are between 8 and 40 characters and have tried using ones containing special characters and ones without. There is no field that asks for a username or email of any sort, just that I enter and confirm my new password. If it makes any difference, I never created a username for using chats or anything, just used my email. Is there any way I can get into my account again? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think so. I even tried creating a new account with said email just in case, but it says that the email is already in use. I'll try emailing him, thanks!

For you, it's probably because you don't have an @ (a username)

I don't know it stil won't let I put an @
You still don't have an @ before your name. Make sure you put it in the Username spot and not just the Name spot

Just try using Mosis as your username
It’s probably because in the “Username” column, you’re putting a second @. There is already an @ going to be used. Just put “Mosis”.

Hey @Mosis, it looks like you've saved one now. If you're having issues setting any other username, can you send me a PM with the username you're trying to set it to? Please note that usernames have to be unique (so you can't have the same username as someone else).
