He laughs, "do you even know how much money you're worth, sweetheart?" A chill runs through me, soaking it's way down to my very bones.
He smirks at me and hooks his thumbs on his belt loops.
The next sentence he says twists my stomach more than the last one. "You're priceless."
It's suddenly very hard to breathe. All I can think is 'he knows who I am'.
"Am I an object to you?" I snarled, grabbing his hand.
"Far from it my dear" he politely conters, turning me around and presses my back onto him, he lays an arm across my shoulder and fumbles in one of his pockets.
he growls, but doesn't seem to budge his position "Time to sleep my dear" i hear him say, then he presses a cloth over my mouth and nose "Shhhh, just go to sleep" he whispers when i start to struggle in vain.
My vision blurs and the world sinks into black.
The next thing I see is my little sister, holding my hand. She seems lost, but not sad.
He has control over me, thats what i know when i slip into nothingness. Sometime later I wake up and wonder where I am "Welcome to my world sweetheart!" i hear his voice and i feel panic.
"Why are you here?" she asks. "I told you never to follow me."
"Oh I didn't follow you, I took you with me" i hear him say and hear a devious laugh..
Honestly, I'm not even sure which would've been worse.
He steps into my view and grins at me "Hello sweety-pie, how you doin'?" i stare blank into his eyes, showing no emotions…
My throat dry, I manage to croak out: "Where am I? Who are you, really?"
He keeps on grinning, its a creepy one and im afraid of him "You are in my world sweety" he tells me, he frowns upon my question "Im not sure you wanna know who I really am"
"Wh-Why?" I'm starting to feel sick.
"Because then you'd be really afraid," he says, and amidst my panic I find it in me to frown at him. This is all so cliche.
However, my confidence vanishes in a matter of seconds as I watch the man walk over to me, leaning his face down towards mine. Fidgeting in the chair I was tied to, I crane my head back and hiss as his rough hand slides down my cheek.
I wake up gasping. It had all seemed so real. It was time to go.
Time to go where? Back to the future, of course!
I ran to the barn, making sure nobody saw me. I fumbled with the lock, hoping against hope that it still worked.
Once the lock clicked open I shoved myself against the door, prying it open. Cobwebs and dust cover my clothes as I hurdle myself towards the chest near the back wall. My hands claw at the handles, thrusting open the lid.
I grabbed the backpack, stuck the bomb inside, and texted Hezra:
My fingers fly frantically over the screen as I desperately send the S.O.S text. What if he didn't get my message? Was there even reception here? Before I could hit send, a noise from behind me stopped my fingers cold.
Buuuut it was just a mouse so I continued with my frantic….whatever it was that I was doing previously.
I send the text and finally stop to examine my surroundings. I'm in a barn, and I'm covered in cobwebs from head to toe
Where all the cobwebs came from, I'm not sure. Maybe a small army of spiders resides in this barn, because really, I have a lot of cobwebs all over me.
Suddenly a ring went off from my phone. I swiped quickly, reading the text from Hezra. His voice echoed throughout my mind as I read the message.
"We have received your request. Activate the time traveling device in one minute. See you in headquarters soon, be safe."
I became very confused—time travelling device? I had a bomb in my backpack, not a time travelling device!
