Rune is such a special and unique person, he's mysterious, benign, kindhearted, sensitive, and vengeful. Rune is briefly attentive to certain topics that bore him in a conversation. Hence, he will get bored and tries to pretend that he enjoys it. His sensitivity is highly unusual, light cruel words and being negatively judged, truly harm him. Moving on to his strange side, he is full of secrets, and it's intriguing what or how he thinks differently from others.

Rune deliberately uses his emotions as a mask to hide his true feelings for someone and about something. The consequent confusion of overthinking about his true self will give anyone an ominous feeling. It's like he's a completely different person in his mind. This dark side of his doesn't apply to Mitch Rhionna, due to their strong bond and trust in each other. He also agrees to requests and suggestions against his will, with a smile, because he doesn't want to offend or disappoint someone.

Rune fears not securing a high-paying job, rejection from Mitch if he confesses, and seeing himself in his worst state (bad body build, ugly face, hair, and smile).

Rune's life was marked by hardship and emotional scars. Abandoned at a young age, he survived on the streets of Decatur, relying on theft and begging for food. His life felt hopeless until he met Mitch, a kind-hearted girl who offered him the first taste of friendship and stability. Mitch's generosity gave Rune a new life, taking him in and introducing him to her loving family. Though grateful, Rune’s past left him hollow and distrustful, and his fears of abandonment lingered.

Rune's trust was further tested by betrayal. After becoming close with some street teens, they turned on him, leaving him broken and distrustful. From then on, he kept his emotions hidden, except for Mitch, who remained his only true friend. His relationship with Luna added another layer of pain. He fell in love with her, but after confessing his feelings, he discovered she had lied about her love for him. Despite this, Rune tried to salvage their bond, but Luna’s neglect and lack of understanding pushed him into emotional isolation for two months.

When Rune returned to Luna, their relationship had already shifted. Luna began to focus on other things, and Rune soon realized she had emotionally let go. The final blow came when Remon sent him a message showing Luna’s indirect breakup with him. Rune was crushed, feeling abandoned and betrayed by someone he once loved deeply. This heartbreak changed him, turning him cold and distant, even from Mitch, though he remained loyal.

Though Rune still had hopes for a better future, he became a shell of the person he once was. His emotional turmoil had turned into a deep distrust of others, and the weight of his past haunted him. Rune’s heart had been broken too many times, but his determination to survive and seek happiness, even if buried under layers of pain, remained.

Rune wanted to play with Mitch, but she had school tasks. Rune shrugged it off, saying he'd wait. Mitch promised to return soon, but hours passed, and Rune was left alone. Finally, they came home, and Rune greeted them, but Mitch seemed upset. She led him to the living room, and when she broke down in tears, Rune rushed to her side. "What happened? Are you hurt?" he asked, full of concern. Mitch sobbed, "I promised to come back soon... but I made you wait..." Rune smiled gently, comforting her. "You kept your promise. I'm happy with that. We can still play!" Mitch wiped her tears, smiled, and they ran off to their room, hearts lightened.
