Originated in the territory that eventually became the German state of Prussia. The name comes from the Middle High German word "valke," meaning "falcon.”

When it’s down, it’s about mid-chest length with the front quarter cut around her chin. She wears it up in braids, sometimes I’m box braids for long days. She often has a headscarf to protect her scalp.

Tan, both naturally and slightly sun kissed from long days in the sun.
Lean and strong.
Simple. She actually likes color, but she sticks with beiges and lightly dyed materials because those are the cheapest to buy and make. She prefers pants to skirts, so she fashions them herself. She often wears a simple shirt and pants, throwing light or heavy fabrics over them depending on the weather.

She grew up a couple miles away from the aristocracy, and right on the edge of the slums. Her father is an accomplished journeyman and was able to keep his family just out of complete poverty. Ember has grown up her entire life watching the poor suffer and die, especially due to the repercussions of the war, and resulted in her very compassionate outlook—and a major hate for the Royal family. She wishes there to be a change in government so that all may be free.
