Chikara's body structure is a cross between man and bird. Fluffy white down covers his skin from the top of his neck down to his knees. His head is mostly human, with short wisps of pale gray hair. Long, flowing feathers of many different pastel colors drape down from his shoulders and arms, long enough to cover his knees. Under these feathers are thick muscles, gifted to him by his source souls' years of meditative exercise and martial arts. In place of a mouth, he has a long beak like that of a heron. Long talons sit at the end of his avian legs, but his hands are distinctly human. His milky white eyes stare down at company with a kind of subtle superiority.

In his Release Form, his human traits fade away and he becomes completely avian. His feathers turn brilliant emerald green. With each beat of his massive wings, he can whip up magic-driven tornados in the blink of an eye and raze everything to the ground as he pleases.

Calm, detached, and unreadable are the ideals that Chikara strives for. He always speaks slowly and serenely, enunciating every word. If any emotion shows through his tone, it must be ten times stronger in his mind, barely held back by years of strict discipline. His mastery over his powers has given him somewhat of a superiority complex, but he tries not to let it show too much. He's stubborn as a mule, however, and can be very hard to argue with once he's set on something.

Levitation

Chikara is skilled at hand-to-hand combat, moving smoothly and effortlessly. He blends his Wind Magic with his strikes without even thinking, staggering his opponents with mere waves of his hand, and even if you can open some distance, he can use his magic to sweep you off your feet and pull you much closer. He also has complete control over his Chosen One powers, and will activate his Release Form on command when he needs to get serious.

Self-designated mentor of Chosen Ones

Chikara's first and only Trusted was Kytenn, who he met while traveling. Unfortunately, Chikara outlived the very-much-mortal dragon, and the grief of seeing Kytenn fade before his eyes triggered Chikara's Release Form (though not for the first time). When Chikara came to, there was blood on his hands and Kytenn's body had long since gone cold. Though what truly happened is a mystery, the fear that Chikara was the one to end Kytenn's life caused Chikara to vow never again to let his emotions control him. He mastered his Release Form, and never again took another trusted.

He went on to try his hand at mentoring other Chosen Ones, and so far has been teaching Spot the ways of the role. Once Kelkov Aerio learns of his own powers, he will likely come to Chikara for help as well.
