Alfonzo looks like a big bipedal bear. He has a thick, round build, practically teardrop-shaped from the top of his head to the bottom of his belly with barely any room for a distinguishable neck. His fur is thick and mostly sandy brown with a couple of darker patches on his face. Though there are sharp teeth in his mouth and claws on his feet, he hardly looks as frightening as a normal bear: he has rounded ears, a short snout with a small, pink nose, and large eyes that never exhibit any malice. His feet are identical to bear paws, but his hands have three stubby fingers and a thumb with leathery pads on the palms.

Though he could easily be taken for an Atherian, Alfonzo insists he isn't one. As for what he is, well, that's a mystery. He's a private sort of guy.

Alfonzo is a boisterous fellow who can be a little mischievous at times. He loves messing with people, but he's never serious about it and he knows to pull back when he's gone too far. He tends to be more detail-oriented and sees beauty in places most people wouldn't think to look, admiring the silver lining to every situation no matter how dark it can get. Life's too short to let it get him down. He might have trouble empathizing with friends that just need a shoulder to cry on, but he's always there if you want someone to lift your spirits.

Alfonzo is too friendly to fight, even if he was physically capable.

No one knows where Alfonzo came from or who he really is; he just approached Skye Flortite one day looking to join the band and he's been with them ever since.
