With her tall, skinny build and nervous posture, Lyra looks like a stiff wind could knock her right over. Her expression is always shy-looking as well, with small, soft gray eyes, thin eyebrows, and a round nose. Her narrow jawline is framed by a frizzy mop of wavy black hair, dark enough to have a bluish luster in the right light. It tends to cover parts of her face, especially when she draws into herself as she is liable to do. She is also nearsighted, and wears rectangular glasses with thin frames.

Lyra is quiet, anxious, and cripplingly shy, thriving the most in calm and predictable environments. She has trouble speaking unless spoken to or standing up for herself, instead choosing to quietly endure hardships or find a way to run from them. She can be an immensely helpful friend, though, never wanting those she cares for to suffer for long, and she has a keen memory for small details about people. Her favorite pastime is taking long walks through the forest or beach in the middle of the night, when all is still.

Bow and arrows

Lyra doesn't exactly have the personality for combat, but she is slowly learning how to use a bow by training with the felins she lives with. Her aim is decent, and her hands no longer shake when drawing an arrow. Her wind magic is used solely for mundane purposes.

Lyra had a somewhat rough home life. Her parents were lost shortly after she was born, leaving her in the care of her brother, Silex Amoro. Silex was a strict guardian who didn't take well to the extra responsibility. Lyra found herself hating him, though she would never admit it to anyone, and one day decided she'd had enough and ran away from home.

Disaster struck soon after, when the Aida Spacetime Incident forcibly teleported her to Zohon, another Realm entirely. She was stranded with no way of contacting her brother or anyone else, and would've died in the wilderness if she hadn't stumbled on Makakati Village. She was ultimately saved by Mage Sholan Makakati. As soon as she'd recovered from the shock and fit of depression from having her old home torn away from her, Lyra realized she was actually relieved at the chance for a new life, where Silex would never find her.

Lyra managed to make herself useful in Makakati Village, enough for the felins to grudgingly accept a human into their ranks (though not on any official level just yet). She helps gather food and tends to the wounded, and is currently learning archery from Mali Makakati to defend herself and help with the hunting. She even has a bit of a crush on Mali, but feels it would be extremely inappropriate to act on it.
