Valerie Ernestine, formerly just Valerie, whose title is the Dusk Sentry, and the eccentric sister of Iris, is a charismatic 17-years-old woman superior to all recruits who earned the highest honor, greater than a grandee [unit head]. She has a charming medium-length blonde hair, pair of ruby-red eyes, and freckles.

She claims to be born from a poor town in Murkheigh Woods, suffering from poverty and the claws of the cold, which what motivated her to fulfill the dream of carrying all the towns on her shoulders, distributing funds to the townsfolks, and vanquishing the unpleasant quality of poverty from them. Although in reality, she was originally from [[Universe-285298]], bearing the Ernestine name.

She got separated, without any recollection of her sister, through "accidental kidnapping" during a certain mission in Broken Timerands. The reports of a stolen child reached Harry, sounding quite troubled, and he sighed, "Judging by the current circumstances, there is no point of returning her because the mission has been exposed. So, for now, caught members are obliged to take care of her; it is the only way of atoning for this significant mistake."

Henceforth, the said members willingly cared for her, watching her grow throughout the years. And at some point, one of them was able to take Valerie home, seeing her as her mother while she saw the others as aunts and uncles. Occasionally, her mother brings Valerie to her unit and even introducing her to Harry. Eventually, Harry developed a liking to her as she called him uncle as well, and offered her mother to allow Valerie to work in Aether whenever she think she is ready.

Change isn't difficult to her, but the change of yielding her ambition is thoroughly arduous to her due to the fear of failing everyone's hopes and expectations. Valerie is bold and audacious in serving the Aether, willing to run foreigners out of the realm if she is ordered to, and this side of her concurrently heightens her ambitious quality and pride.

• Valerie is deft and superb in Reigna, which is a strategy game similar to chess, but instead, in earlier times, it referenced the strategic aptitude of women if their wit and shrewdness of women are applied in war. Of course, the pieces have distinctive moves indistinguishable from that of chess.
