Priestess of Alwÿn, in the elvish village of Lannelos

Forest/Wood Elf

Xandria, a priestess in the village of Lannelos, the main 'capital' of the forest elves who worship Alwÿn, the heart tree of their forest and the center of their religion. The village is built around the roots of Alwÿn and the surrounding trees.

A reclusive and secretive people, the forest elves act as guardians to the forest as a whole, protecting it (as all of the forest and its creatures are the children of Alwÿn) and in exchange being granted boons of life and magic.

A peaceful race by nature, yet restrictive to outsiders so none may roam their forest and capable and willing to fight to defend their forest and their homes.

Willowy, Lithe; she's short and petite for an elf, but she still has the fluid yet sturdy build of the rest of her people. Flexible as the tree boughs but as tough as the trunk, as they say.

Jade green

White-Blonde; it tends to bleach itself silver in the summer months and darken to a honey blonde in the winter.

Long, loose wavy curls, to about mid-back. Often done up in intricate braids along the sides and back, particularly during rituals and worship ceremonies.

The Elvish script and sacred symbology of the priests of Lannelos wraps around her limbs - one band around the biceps, one around the wrists, one around the ankles, and one around the mid-thighs. Thin, faint, intricate flowering vines connect each of these bands together on her limbs, and they glow a vibrant, earthy green when channeling the magic given to the elvish people by Alwÿn, their sacred heart tree and mother of the forest.

Two in each ear, which usually contain feathered earrings.

As a priestess, Xandria most often wears loose robes of earthy greens and brown, slit at the thighs for easy movement and cinched at the waist by belts made of softened tree bark and roots. Various small pouches for herbs and medicines hang from her belt, as well as a small knife for use cutting and tending but sharp enough to be used as a weapon.

She also wields a quarterstaff carved from a young tree and imbued with the magic of Alwÿn, as another method (outside of her tattoos) to be able to channel the heart tree's blessings and magic. It can also be used in defense and as a weapon, if the situation calls for it. It works especially well for Xandria since she's short and doesn't have much of a reach.
