Yenika Rasakov was born in the remote borderland town she calls home. She lost her parents to the wilds when she was 5, and was raised in an orphanage called Oakwood. Contrary to belief, life wasn't bad at the orphanage, aside from the fact that all the kids there had to earn their keep, so Yenika was working by 7 years old. As a result of working a myriad of odd jobs all through her life, Yenika is a bit of a jack of all trades and more than capable of taking care of herself.

When she was old enough, she began training to become a ranger for the Ranger's Guild, mostly because opportunities were slim in the borderland for an orphan with no other prospects. Becoming a ranger also qualified her to act in the Town Guard.

Yenika has no interest in venturing too deep into the wilds that killed her family and left her a destitute orphan, so she only accepts escort missions for the local area. The pay isn't as lucrative as it could be because of that, so she works full time as a member of the Town Guard and bunks in the barracks to save what coin she can. It's a modest life, considering Yenika is all alone in the world, but it's a life she's happy with overall.
