More than anything, Opal hates abuse of any kind, and fights vehemently against relationships with this sort of trend. She doesn't believe in violence without justification, and thinks that talking should (usually) solve everything. Discrimination is something she just can't understand.

Too suspicious of literally everyone, but mostly men.
Has a deep fear of commitment to anyone romantically but desperately wants to love somebody.
Goes too far out of her way to avoid conflict then somehow inadvertently causes it.
Tends to say exactly what's on her mind then immediately regret it.
A horrible liar. Just. The worst. Really.

Opal's entire ideal of happiness is being left alone to do what she wants. More than anything, she fears and hates violence, leaving her mostly apprehensive about Hell and causing her to be admittedly a bit reclusive. She spends most of her time at home, only leaving to obtain fabrics or supplies for her next project, which she will work on with single-minded intensity and focus to the point of forgetting to eat or sleep.
She loves and cherishes the important people in her life: Mar is literally half of her world, and her unerring loyalty to people she cares about could be considered a flaw if she weren't so cautious.
She's impulsive but fights against it daily, as it tends to get her in trouble that she can't handle and would honestly rather be without.
Outgoing but afraid of drawing attention, she struggles to make friends and struggles with a bit of depression, sometimes going so far as intense self loathing and long bouts of hiding away in her room until either Mar or Tara quite literally drag her out, kicking, screaming and usually sobbing.
Is admittedly a bit of a cry baby but has a heart of gold.
She refuses to use or talk about her abilities as a dark fey, but is capable of slipping into the minds of just about anyone to create infinite amounts of fear and doubt that drive people to the point of insanity.
An amateur spell caster. Mostly uses it to change the color of fabrics and dye her hair.

Opal is about fifty percent cinnamon roll and forty percent freedom fighter, with the remaining ten percent likely being a bit of a cry baby.
She's not shy but hates attention, and while she almost always has something to say, she rarely will say it in front of stranger.
She skips frequently in the place of walking, never runs without good reason, and clasps her hands behind her back constantly, whether to look innocent or hide the spell she might be casting.
Rocks back on her heels a lot, laughs too loud and stutters frequently while trying to lie.
Fails at being a wall flower.

Mar carved her a set of wooden earrings once. She wears them every day.

She can read and write, and it's a miracle she can do that much.

Opal was born the second daughter of four, and the overall fourth child out of six. Mar pratically raised her, considering how awful their mother was, and when said mother sold her off into an arranged marriage, she ran away to the front lines of a war just to hide out in his tent.
After his Mar's death in the human world, she traveled with the army for a couple of years but ultimately died in a skirmish. She had been engaged to the army captain.
Almost immediately she was reincarnated to Spain, where she lived a simple life as an only child, fell in love, got married... only to endure several miserable years at the hand of an abusive husband. A breaking point led to her accidental murder of him, and through a series of events she ended up in an all women gang that basically got rid of abusive husbands. She died in a police raid at the age of thirty seven and went straight to Hell, where Alistar was waiting to ultimately use her as a bargaining chip against Mar (it didn't go well).

She currently lives in Tara's court, taking care of the castle and trying not to attract too much attention while dancing poorly down the halls with a mannequin.
