Volpe is a cruel and calculating psychopath. However, he gives off a charismatic aura about him that wants people to follow him. His hatred of lesser beings can get into his way with his plans. He has a huge habit of underestimating his opponents due to seeing them as inferior. He does, however, value the life of plants and animals and will protect them.

Volpe is the 1,655 attempt by Zoe to create the perfect life form. Being the success, Zoe unleashes him onto Hadean to get stronger and as a test for her experiment. He was summoned to Hadean by the Mad King Seth. Disgusted by Seth's actions, Volpe kills him and declares the rest of the Hadeans as imperfect savages that must be destroyed. He arrives in the country of Ithaca and starts to implant parasites into the natives, converting them into monsters to aid him in the war against the Hadeans.
