Twilight was born to a noble family in Caesaromagus, Dasos. From a young age, he always looked up to soldiers, which his parents greatly disapproved of. He secretly began learning fencing and had a talent of it. When his parents found out, they shipped him off to Mage University in order to learn magic, which Twilight wasn't interested in. There he met Zan and became friends and eventually he fell in love with her. Nearing the end of the semester, Beatrice was convicted of cannibalism and human experimentation and fled. Zan and Twilight was also kicked out. Twilight, Zan, and Ryan decide to go to Varan, Notia to see a concert. On the way, they were captured by Germanian soldiers, believing that they're Notian spies. They are then tortured for information for 6 months by Elsa Megele. Eventually, Notian raiders looted the place and rescued them, and their leader, Shauna befriended Zan. They decide to join the Notian army in revenge and served for 6 months. They then ran into an acquaintance named Jerry searching for the Ancient Library of Mu’allaf. They found it and Zan gained the legendary tome, Bromir. On their way back, Twilight gets kidnapped by the vampire lord, Morvarid. They rescue him, but not before he was turned into a vampire by Morvarid. Seeing himself as a monster, he attempted suicide, but Zan stopped him, saying that he was her best friend and still needed him.
