Plays piano and guitar, can balance seven spoons on her face at once, she's not sure if that's a talent, and she can do math pretty well. Sami can also speak German (roughly)
Samiel is half siren, she can use her voice to manipulate people around her, She is unaware of this, and does not use it often when she does discover it. She actually rather dislikes it.

Sami believes that there is good in the world and in people, even if that goodness is not shown to her very often. She also doesn't think that her own life is worth much, but she does the best she can to try to mean something. She stopped believing in God or any religions a long time ago. Most of her prejudices rely heavily on the stories her father told her, about monsters.

She hates herself, she thinks that she is the reason why her father doesn't care.
She is stubborn, if you tell her she can't do something (because of her foot) she will prove you wrong the best she can. (possibly hurting herself in the process)

She is shy, and quiet. Sami isn't used to be able to share her emotions easily, and ridicules herself for it. She is an outstanding actor, but she does not recognize herself as one, which also comes with the ability of being an amazing liar. She tends to trust people way to easily, from lack of friends she has at home. A lot of her motivation is spite. She works out with yoga videos just because someone told her she could never be strong.

She is motivated by the small things in life, that, in her opinion are the reason for living. Little aesthetically pleasing things that she can find joy in. (i.e. moss clinging to a tree, early morning mist, dewy damp grass, the smell of rain.[Just as an example])

Her voice is her most accessible weapon, being half-siren and all, but she prefers her dagger, a foot long (including the hilt) silver blade, with the name θάλασσα etched into the base. she consults a scholar, and finds out it translates to thálassa. She finds the blade, almost spontaneously on her 14th birthday, and decides to keep it, not knowing what significance it would have in her future.

Samiel is a sophomore in high school, she is in AP Algebra and AP Literature. She is extremely quick witted, but she has a habit of not voicing her opinions and thoughts very often, for the belief that they do not matter.

Her mom died almost immediately after her fifth birthday, her father became withdrawn, turning to drugs and alcohol for solace. He became neglectful, and she relies on the few memories she has of her mother for parental guidance. Samiel's mother was a mythical creature known as a siren. Her father is human.
