Kate has lightly muscled arms and a defined jaw line. Her chest isn't that big but not too small either. She has thicker thighs and a big booty. Basically a slim-thick thing.

Kate's skin tone is a very light tan but becomes more tan through the story (from being outside)

Kate has hazel eyes that change from brown to green naturally

She has long wavy/straight hair that reaches her tailbone. Kate has never cut nor trimmed her hair and is proud of her "glory". She usually wears her hair in a loose side braid or in a ponytail.

Before the outbreak happened, Kate loved visiting the library to check out a book then going to the local coffee shop to read every Tuesday. The youngest of her older brothers always took her.
After the outbreak, you'll often see her sharpening knives and making traps to keep them safe for the night. Occasionally she'll read books, from the bus that she kept from the crash, before she falls asleep.

~Emotionally~

Anxious: bites thumb nails, quite short breathes, doesn't make eye contact, distracts self with hands (fidgeting)

Anger: clenches fist, bites bottom lip, most likely yell, breaks things or punches things (trees, walls, etc..)

Fear: tries to act tough like she's not afraid, quick short answers, basic freeze response, too much eye contact (holding it for too long)

Happy: toothy grin, makes it noticeable, sweet sighs

Sad: pushes people away when they're trying to help (not talk to them or shuts herself out), stares into space, tries to be alone, won't talk

~Generally~

Kate usually walks gracefully for someone as "tough" as herself. Her mother always taught her to walk ladylike no matter what and it always stuck with her. She walks with hand folded in front of her and her head down if she's behind a group but she usually keeps her chin up. Kate often fidgets with her hands while listening to a bunch of people talk but tries to keep eye contact if she's one-on-one with someone.

Getting back home and finding her family after the government took her group to Section 4 (which they never made it to).
Staying alive and keeping everyone else alive.

Kate is often quick to judge and makes jokes out of any situation. She will over think things due to anxiety and tries to make everyone happy when she knows she can't. She often tries too hard, knowing her limits, and lets herself down when she comes short.

Kate absolutely hates the government and anything to do with it's "safe" programs. After a failed experiment, a safe haven gone wrong, and being separated from her family, she hates the government and all of it's workers.

Kate is one of the people that cooks for the group. She learned from her father how to hunt a cook venison outside with nothing but a weapons and fire. Kate is very talented with weapons. She's grown up with 4 older brothers to teach her how to use different weapons.

Kate is a kind and sweet spirit but will fight someone without a second thought. She often thinks about others and subtly proves it through her actions. For example, if you're sick she'll make you a bowl of soup without even having to ask, or if you're carrying a bunch of stuff she'll subconsciously help you carry things. Kate will often be quite when people are talking because she thinks it's respectful, but the moment it's quite she'll talk to her heart's content. Kate deals with anxiety and to cope she would fidget with her hands or something small. Once you get on her bad side, it takes a lot of effort to get back to her good side. Her quick wittiness gets her into to trouble but her charming side often helps her out. Kate tries her best to seem tough and strong even when she feels like giving up. She tries to give everyone faith and keep them motivated throughout the journey.

Blue (Dark blue and sky blue)

She's always loved watching foxes run around in the woods while her and her brothers roamed around setting traps for game.

Kate loves using throwing knives, her two axes, but her favorite weapon is probably a crossbow that survived the crash.

Her books and journal that she keeps in her bag along with her weapons.

Before the outbreak when Kate's brother took her to the coffee shop, she loved trying new pastries each time they went in. The safe haven didn't bake any sorts of desserts so it's been years since the last time she's even smelled a pastry.

Kate is usually the one that cooks for their section. She'll let the others hunt for food while she skins/guts the animal and prepare to cook and/or cook it. Nobody told her to do this but everyone agrees she's most qualified considering her upbringing.

Kate HATES the government and everything about it since the outbreak and the separation occurred. All she wants is to live in peace with her family.

Before the outbreak, Kate had a fairly normal life. She went to school, she had friends, and a family that she was close to. Her 4 older brothers meant the world to her. She had a routine that she stuck to. Sunday was saved for church, Monday was piano lessons, Tuesday was library and coffee shop day, Wednesday was for cooking lessons, and so forth. Everything changed after the outbreak. Random news updates came on the television in the middle of movies or shows. People started whispering about scientist experiments in the hallways at school. But one day it got worse, the Separation. Everyone got a knock one the door, telling them to meet at the school gym for a meeting. One thing lead to another and everyone started getting on buses to a safe haven underground where everyone under 18 would be kept safe. Only 2 of Kate's brothers went with her because they were both 16 (twins). The two older of her brothers were 18 and 20. Years pass and eventually Kate's brothers are "set free", leaving Kate with only her friends. The "safe" haven eventually fails due to the outbreak leaking in the vents. Over 80% of everyone became infected and quarantined. The rest were split up by age and sent to different section. On the way to Section 4, the bus crashes, leaving everyone on it alone in a post apocalyptic world, fighting for survival.

Kate made it all the way to eighth grade before the outbreak. At the safe haven, everyone was pushed harder and forced to work on higher levels of education. Because of this, Kate, along with her group, is highly intelligent

Due to the lack of clothes, Kate has only two changes of clothes. She usually wears a dark blue long sleeved shirt or a black long sleeved shirt. She also has a couple jackets and hoodies.

Kate likes to wear darker color such as black, blue, and greens. Her style is a mix between tomboy and boho.
