Ruben's raven hair is messy and short. He grew out his bangs to cover his eyes to avoid seeing the effects of Alice in Wonderland syndrome.

Ruben has no facial hair, unless if you count the hair covering his eyes.

Ruben easily gets very anxious and nervous and he has a tendency to ramble. A lot. He is also bad at keeping secrets, mainly due to his rambling. Unfortunately for him, he is very trusting.

Ruben has Alice in Wonderland syndrome, or AiWS. Alice in Wonderland syndrome is when the victim has episodes where the world around them will appear as if it has either shrunk or grown. No other known cases of this syndrome has been documented on the Isle of Ikimono and he keeps the fact that he has this syndrome as much as a secret as possible, but he's bad at keeping secrets. He tends to have episodes when he panics, gets into a situation that could potentially be harmful or when he gets a migraine.
