Piper's mother and father put her up for adoption as soon as she was born. Her parents were 16 and weren't ready for a child. She was adopted by Jayden Apex's parents when she was five and lived with them for four years before they were killed. She was taken in by Addilyn with her brother. Addilyn never paid a lot of mind to Piper. She read a lot and made friends with a young girl named Lucy, whose mother was being tested on. She and her brother were kicked out and Piper stayed with Lucy and her father whenever Jayden had to leave Goldlight. Once the Elite were together, Piper came to love all of them.
