He is a physically strong and ruthless fighter, and can be very intimidating when he wants to be. His reputation is so fearsome that he can scare away lesser delinquents with a glare. This makes him very sought after by other gangs, and he often gets many offers to join various delinquent groups. However, Ken'Ichirou makes it very clear he wants to be left alone.

He is also skilled at origami, and likes to make cute animals with the paper. Daichi (大地) suggested he do origami as way to calm himself when he got angry. Initially, Daichi suggested activities like knitting, drawing, meditating, etc, but Keni'Ichirou didn't have any patience or money for materials. Ken already knew a few basic origami shapes, and decided to (reluctantly) try it. He decided to start with a tiger, because it reminded him of Daichi and really how hard could folding paper be? The answer was harder than he thought. It took lots of failed attempts, and scrunched up paper, but eventually he made an origami tiger (albeit a really wonky one). He was actually really proud of it and decided to continue so that the next origami tiger would be even better. He practiced heaps, and can now make complex origami with ease.

Gay

Ken'Ichirou is cheeky, mischievous, devious, aggressive, impulsive, emotional, brutal, determined, yet underneath can be surprisingly kind, gentle, and easily flustered. With a rough and course attitude, Ken'Ichirou has a typical delinquent demeanour which he uses to scare and intimidate others. In the past, he was violent towards others in order to feel superior and more powerful than his victims. This stemmed from the physical abuse he experienced from his father which taught him that the only way to be powerful and 'manly' was through violence and intimidation. However, he eventually unlearnt this mindset with the help of Daichi and his friends, and turned his attitude around.

He likes staying fit. So he does a lot of weight lifting with his fathers old weights. He often goes to the garage and uses workout gear his father doesn't use anymore. Or he goes to the park and does running laps.

Another hobby is watching old timey, black and white, romantic movies that belonged to his mum. He found them in a pile of old boxes when he was rummaging around the house, saw they were his mum's, and decided to watch them. At first he thought they were lame, but by the end of the movie he was hooked and watched the rest in his spare time when he knew his father wouldn't know.

Hates his father with a burning passion. His father's treatment of him has also made him incredibly wary around other adults, and as a result, doesn't trust them at all. Ken'ichirou also has a prejudice against cops. This is due to his father being a cop, and also his resentment about the supposed 'good guys' never coming to his rescue when his father was abusing him. When he was younger, he wanted to be a cop, but once he grew up, he hated anything to do with them. This was only further cemented by him becoming a delinquent.

He is short tempered, and ruthless and overly brutal when he fights. He finds it hard to control his anger and is easily provoked into overreacting. He also bottles up emotions and refuses to talk about them in a healthy way, doesn't trust easily, and lashes out when upset.

He is often afraid of being called 'unmanly' and avoids anything that would make him seem 'like a wuss' (this flaw is eventually overcome as he learns that its okay to like cute, 'girly' things, and that having emotions or crying doesn't make him less of a man).

He is kind of a loner, and doesn't like talking to other people much. This means that he's actually pretty socially awkward. He doesn't know how to hold a normal conversation and can get kind of flustered attempting to.

This also means he is not a team player, and finds it hard to cooperate with other people.

At first, he is motivated by a toxic power hungry attitude and a hatred of his father. However, once he fully integrated into Daichi (大地)'s Gang, he tried to impress Daichi by being like him and helping people. Initially this is kind of selfish as he is only doing good things to make Daichi like him, but eventually he learns to do good for the sake of it, and adopts Daichi's strong sense of justice. Daichi inspired Ken'Ichirou to improve himself and become a better person.

When he is mad or upset, he clenches his fists (sometimes so hard they turn white), and his face turns red. He also grinds his teeth a lot, and even in his sleep sometimes.

He lashes out when he is mad, so he breaks a lot of stuff, including his own possessions which he then immediately regrets.

Student

Has a box of prized possessions and trinkets he keeps in an old shoebox in his closet. Includes his first tiger origami, photos of his mum, first tooth knocked out in fight, money he has been saving up to move out of home, etc.

Crowbar-It's a deadly and painful weapon that deals a huge amount of damage quickly.

When he is older he either becomes construction worker, or a vet.

Lives with single father, mother died in a car crash. Father resented Ken for it and mistreated him due to his own bitterness. As Ken'ichirou grew up, he was taught things like 'real men don't cry'
Homophobic and sexist environment

One day, Ken'ichirou saw a couple of people bullying Yuuta (柑大) . Initially, he ignored them, thinking it was none of his business, but then the bullies said something to Yuuta that reminded him of his dad. He then intervened, stopping a punch before it could hit the Yuuta. Intimidated, the bullies left the him alone. Yuuta tried to thank Ken'ichirou but he brushed it off, and told the victim not to tell anyone what he did. From then on, the he tried to talk and become friends with Ken'ichirou. Ken avoided the him, but he was persistent and eventually wore his barriers down until they became tentative friends.

He goes to a public high school. He earns passing grades and that's good enough for him. His dad only gets mad at him if he fails a subject so he tries to pass them all, but he doesn't care about going well.
