Highschool school currently a sophomore Garfield Highschool

Bliant's father was a nurse and his mother left when he was two. His dad was always at work and often had to leave Bliant with his neighbors when he was small until he had turned 12 and learned to take care of himself mostly. Bliant often did reckless things like jumping off the roof of his neighbor's house and often surprised the poor old woman that he hadn't had so much as a scratch. Bliant looked forward to days his dad had off and would often have a full day of adventure planned which mostly included trips to the park and ice cream shops. One day Bliant was walking home from his middle school and was distracted by a dog laying down in the side of an alleyway whimpering in pain. Bliant carefully approached the dog petting it and the dog began to wag its tail excitedly and jump up and down as if it wasn't injured at all. Bliant continued petting the dog unaware of the eyes watching him. Bliant noticed other animals that had looked injured until he petted them. Bliant hadn't had a pet before so he just assumed that was a normal way for animals to act when they wanted to be pet. Eventually, the villainous acts had caught up to Bliant who had never been in the presence of one until then. The infamous Misty Manta had broken into the bank and injured one civilian before leaving. Bliant who was near where the man landed. Shook the bleeding man asking if he was okay. The man's bleeding had instantly stopped as soon as Citadel appeared. The man and Bliant had credited Citadel with saving him. The man gave his thanks and took his leave. Bliant was about to do the same as Citadel called him.
"Hey, kid. Come here." Bliant followed Citadel to a secluded area. Bliant should have been scared, but it was Citadel, the cities greatest hero.
"You were so cool, healing that man," Bliant said.
"Kid, I don't have healing powers," Citadel said.
"W-what do you mean," Bliant asked. "Then how did his bleeding stop?"
"It was you kid," Citadel said thinking about the time she first found out her powers. "What's your name kid?"
"Bliant," Bliant said thinking about the signs that should have told him he could heal people.
"Well, Bliant, I'm in the market for a sidekick, are you up for it?"
Bliant agreed and spent the next few months training with Citadel.
