There was always something wrong with Thistle. Her parents knew it, her friends knew it, and they wanted to do something about it. But she had never done something to stir the pot on her. She had always obeyed the laws of the small community she was a part of, she was only a little bit too inclined to break the rules. As such, they just let Thistle go about her business, letting the thoughts in her mind fester. What were those thoughts? Torture. How would she torture anyone who came near her alone. To get information about the town, or other towns around her. Or just for some fun. She was thinking of maybe killing them for fun afterwards, if they weren't good sports. Oh the pleasure that brought her. If they were good sports about it however, she would be a bit more merciful, maybe allowing them a little bit of freedom to choose how they hurt, stuff like that. Make it interesting for them all. After all, she was all for her victims having a little bit of fun, especially if they cooperated. If just made it more fun for her. But for now, the dryad just had to wait until she could leave the town before she could start doing what she fantasied.

One day, she just decided to leave the community she was a part of, and the town didn't chase after her. Not because they wanted her to leave, but because of fear of what she would do to them if they refused to let her go. She went of into the world, trying to fulfill her fantasy of torture. Even better, maybe she would find a person to torture for. Oh the pleasure would be outstanding, to have someone validate her torture as something acceptable, as something normal to do. For now though, she just had to do it for herself. That would just have to do for now.
