History
Ageless
Narum Yshm loved being a fire magic using Djinn. Problem was, his looks and actions were weird in a way, so most masters didn't like him. First off, his blue skin in human form caused his masters to become prejudiced at him at the start of his tenure, and when he couldn't do the things a normal Djinn would be able to do, notably create things from other things using energy, most masters took him with a grain of salt. That didn't discourage him by trying his darnest to prove his masters wrong and that he could help, by doing the thing he did best, fighting. Fighting with fire.
Whenever he had the opportunity to fight for his master, his true colors showed. His brass knuckles would flare, his bow would be quickly in his hands, and he would be ready to go, punching and shooting his way to helping. His masters wouldn't normally focus on that however, and would still prejudice him for not being able to do the normal Djinn things. And did I mention his gender hurt things? People were expecting female servants, not male ones. It was audibly complained to him that masters felt uncomfortable with bossing around a male, since it wasn't the logical thing to do. Narum's response to all that, "Don't think about social standards. I'm meant to serve as well as I can." His masters wouldn't oblige because they couldn't go away from their views.
There was one master who was really good to him however. It was a peasant, who didn't even try to use him for his fighting ways. However, he asked the Djinn to use his fire to warm up their house and his dying mother. Struck by the intense loyalty of this man to his family, he obliged, not even thinking about his fighting depravity. He even would go out and hunt for the family as the peasant would stay with his mother, bringing back meat and fruit for the family.
The only problem, there was a noble family who hated that family. With a passion. During the night an assassin came and attacked the peasant, mortally wounding him. Narum went into a rampage, running after the assassin. He would not let that man get away with what he did. After fighting that assassin and turning him in the the authorities, he went back to the house. The peasant was still on the floor, damaged beyond repair. The peasant beckoned him over. "Narum, thank you. You have served me well. Go and serve another like you have served me." The peasant then died, leaving Narum the closest to crying that he had in years. He stayed with the family and took care of the peasants mother until she died, then went back in the Sphere of Jade, waiting for another master like the peasant in personality. Whatever his master would be, he would serve them wholeheartedly however, ready to be the Djinn he wanted to be.
