She fiddles with anything mechanical she can get her hands on. She also loves to write down about her latest invention ideas in a little notebook.

High-school student

One day, Avery's father challenged his daughter to fix her grandfather's watch; something he himself had never achieved. Avery's admiration for her dad made sure that she kept at it until eventually, she got it. Once she presented the ticking watch to her father, he was blown away. After her little skateboarding incident (see identifying marks for full details), Avery's father bought her her very own mini tool kit so that she didn't have to stop breaking his in test runs.

She was going to be surprised her birthday at her house, but as she was coming home, her house was set on fire by an unknown criminal and everyone from her family and friends to her dog didn't make it. Now, she tells everybody her birthday is on the day that she first found her new family. (Family = characters I haven't made yet.)

You'll usually find her with a smidge of grease or dirt on her face somewhere from her inventions.

She's pretty much a walking juxtaposition. She's confident but nervous, calculated but caring, serious but joking, and she's reliable but she can't remember anything.
