An ally ghost who is a dog. He can grab enemies and hold them in place for the character to attack. He can bite enemies to injure them. When “killed”, he disappears for a small period of time, then returns. No wounded dog whimpering and stimpack consumption.

He alerts the player to the presence of ghosts by growling.

The dog is black, made from shadow, and without depth. His form is wolf like with very jagged fur. He continually drools blood as if he has a deadly internal injury. (Not as if he is blood thirsty or has just eaten bloody flesh.) He might have some subtle glowing skin tumors.

Occasionally he will make a soft, wet cough, spattering blood.

Perhaps he becomes available after the player puts to rest the souls of all ghost dog packs in the city? (Presumably an act that is not too difficult or time consuming.)
