She's motivated by survival and a sick sort of vengeance she always feels.

She's slowly going insane/she's deranged. She's also extremely paranoid, indecisive, and a bit tactless. Though this is in her old age. When she was younger, she was very materialistic and stubborn, which is why she murdered her successful brother and her husband. I guess murder could also be considered a flaw.

She's very imaginative, great at math, remembers everything, and a great planner. She can also box in her emotions well enough.

She murdered her brother when she was 19. Cold case. She lived her life normally, married at 20, two kids, stay-at-home mom. She later murdered her husband at age fifty-four. It took a while for them to catch her, but in light of the murder they looked back at her brother's. They found new evidence and convicted her of both at age 60. She was put on death row. She complained a lot and heavily annoyed the guards, so she spends a lot of time in solitary confinement.
