Overview
Lucta-Amoro Syndrome
A disorder that most commonly stems from alteration of the morality cores powering the Balance of Light and Darkness, though it may also present itself when other parts of the Soul are modified. When the soul is altered too quickly and drastically, it may cause a sharp rift between the subject's current "self" and the person they remember being.
The most common symptoms are intense self-hatred and desire to erase the offending memories. Many sufferers are driven to self-harm, and if the condition is allowed to progress, they may eventually take their own life.
Named for Theodore Lucta and Alexandra Amoro, partners in the study of the soul who originally discovered the condition.
