Nuaïnor is one of the world's legendary continents or sanctuaries. Attached to medieval Ireland. It was created along with the rest of the world by the great Creator, and overseen by the 'great spirits'.

In its early history Nuaïnor was a wild and unruled land. Wild tribes warred with each other and many self-proclaimed rulers tried to claim lordship over it. About 1000 years before Arnarion's time, a man, called Arion rose up and decided to journey through Nuaïnor, accompanied by a band of friends and loved ones, on a quest to unite all the tribes he could under one rule. He succeeded and became king, chosen by the very people he rallied. People were happy under his leadership, but of eventually, the sun had to set on Arion's rule, and he was eventually succeeded by his daughter.

The continent exists of various towns, villages, landmarks and all kinds of wildlife and magical places. Nuaïnor is also considered as one of the 'sanctuaries' of the world, along with places such as Atlantis, Olypus and Shangri-la.
