Looks

Color

colors vary drastically, as the magical influences working in them screw with genetics and create new colorations.
In general there is always a base color that is the most apparent and in rare cases, the only color.
Then there are accent colors that are the show pieces. They can be in the form of colored tip, stripes from head to tail, speckles, tic marks, colored paws and sections or a combination of two

Colors, in any combination—
white, brown, cream, rust, blonde, black, shades of natural red, shades of iridescent, faint shades of blue, or grey.

Shape

These creatures are shaped much like a well fed cat, rounded belly and four athletic legs with paws at the ends.

Size

They are typically slightly larger than most house cats, more akin to a bobcat in size but can vary between the two sizes

Notable features

These guys have toe beans of course. However their claws are extremely sharp and more talon like.
They have a cat like tail as well as ears.
However they have two sets of owl like wings affixed to their backs. The pair in the back folds backwards and the pair in the front fold back under it, the feathers overlapping to create a water resistant weave.
They also have large eyes, that can see into your very intentions

Materials

Their wings are feathers, but then transfers into something between feather and fur- either very soft feathers or something new entirely

Traits

Aggressiveness

Tasias are not aggressive by nature. They are much more stealthy and passive aggressive than to be flat out aggressive. Their ability make them good hiders but not so good attackers

Maximum speed

These guys are incredibly fast, with cat like reflexes and powerful wings they can fly, run, or jump great distances in short amounts of time

Strengths

They have two important strengths.

1- invisibility. Tasias have an innate ability to turn visibly invisible, and with their quiet instincts they are nearly imperceptible
2- intelligence. These creatures are more intelligent than a majority of humanoid and are possibly the smartest creatures that are not humanoids themselves. Most are ridiculously old and learn as they go. They pick up skills easily and what skills they learn vary from creature to creature

Sounds

Tasias make a variety of sounds including purring, squeaking, buzzing, huffing, growling, and primarily chirping.
Between the species, they have developed an ‘spoken’ language that involves much of their chirping, buzzing, and squeaking, but nothing is known of it due to their nature

Habitat

Preferred habitat

No one knows where they came from. No one even knows where they primarily live. Rumors of Tasias are rather wildly known and sprinkle all over the world. After all, they travel every hundred years or so.

Migratory patterns

Tasias are overly parental creatures, and do not move on quickly. Once their child or children have died, they will mourn their passing for one to three months, wandering from location to location that they knew with their child only to lay there and meditate.
Once the creature has comes to terms with the loss, they begin traveling in whatever direction suits them.
When they find someone suited to that particular creature’s likes and parental nature, they latch on, making themselves known and not leaving until the child has died.

Reproductive patterns

No one really knows within the world
However the narrator knows
Anytime Tasia’s meet another Tasia, the odds of them getting together is insanely high. The two will abandon their children-often leaving them with treats and toys-to spend a week with the other Tasia. After the week is over, they split and return home to their children. After a second week a female Tasia will know if she is pregnant or not. However, the odds of such are very very low. If she is somehow pregnant, she will go through a cycle of mourning, as she will abandon her child then.
Once the mourning is completed, the mother flees into a remote area of the world, though often times a forest away from humanoids. Tasia’s usually give birth to 1 or 2 Babies in similar fashion to cats.
Raising a Tasia takes three years, and the mother will stay with them for the duration until the young Tasia finds a Child of their own and the mother is safe to return to her previous Child or find a new one should she not be needed.

Herding patterns

Tasias are solitary in their own species, but adopt a humanoid child to protect for their life.
Who they adopt depends on the Tasia’s morals and what they find is important. One example being Orion, who adopts primarily academics of poor mental health’s. Orion finds happiness in providing care to these children and seeks out those who need his help.
Others may seek out those who are brave and need protection, depressed and need guidance, or adventurous and need something there with them.
